Worst Experience of Car buying Possible! PLEASE READ THIS AND SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME BY NEVER DOING BUSINESS With this COMPANY. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. THEN They sold me a car that within 20 hours of buying wouldn't accelerate. Called the next day and they treated me like fool. Please do not go here. They lie and steal. They sold me a piece of crap. Long story short the check engine light came on day 1 after I took it home. I called them immediately after and they refused to take t piece of crap. Long story short the check engine light came on day 1 after I took it home. I called them immediately after and they refused to take the truck back. saying they don’t have a return policy. Day 3 in my possession on my way to work the truck breaks down. I was left stranded at 6am on i-15. I decided to tow the truck to the dealership. Bobbi the salesman there lied to me and said the loan had already been funded so there was no chance of cancellation. I then called the bank and found out they had nothing about my purchase in their records. At that point I was able to call them on the lie. After 7hrs and nearly $400 later, I finally was able to get out of a crooked sale. They were belittling and rude and would pass the blame sending us all over the dealership to talk to certain people. It’s was a terrible experience. Again I do not recommend. More

On March 30th I went into National Auto Plaza (Sandy Location) to look at vehicles. My wife is completely without a car at this time. I ended up negotiating price on a 2017 Chevy Traverse. I do not qualify by myself so we used my wife's info to help get us a car loan. The finance guy talked me into getting a credit card for $3000 to go towards the downpayment. I did bring the car home for the evening. The next day it came to my attention that there could be layoffs at work due to COVID-19. We decided that we could not financially keep the car and brought it back less than 24 hours of the loan being drafted. My wife refused to sign the contract for fear of me losing my job and us not being able to pay the car payment. They tried to talk her into getting another line of credit for $3000. This would have killed us financially but they kept grilling us to get more lines of credit. We felt like we were being strong-armed so we left the dealership. We realized after leaving that we had not received any of the paperwork. They texted us on the way out that we would not get the $3000 back. There is no reason for them to keep that downpayment money as that car had just rolled into that lot on March 30th. Now they will charge another person more downpayment money and profit twice! We have requested the paperwork several times and they refuse to give it to us. All I know is whether I can get my money back or not I want others to know that this place is joke and they will get every penny they can out of you. They will lie and cheat to do it. More

I wish they had a NEGATIVE star option. I want to warn people NOT go to this place to buy a car. We went here initially to get a truck for myself. I was unable to get approved for the truck which I was lo people NOT go to this place to buy a car. We went here initially to get a truck for myself. The salesman then tried my wife's credit and got her approved for a higher amount, but claimed it would only work on a car. The car he pressured her into, was not even on the car lot at the time. But after making her feel obligated and pressuring her further, he got her to sign contracts that same day....even though the car wasn't even there and she hadn't even seen it yet.(yes she was a pushover, but that has nothing to do with this review). Once the car arrives at the dealership 4 days later, she got it....and loved it. About a week after that, she was called back in and was asked to "resign" a contract for a better deal. But they needed more copies of her pay stubs, bills, etc...because the ones they had, had been misplaced. Two weeks later (after giving them everything they asked for) they contact her again to inform her she was not approved on the loan, and they needed to try another loan company. That was all we had heard from them at that point. Fast forward another two weeks, and they again contact her to tell her that they need the car back and that she provided fraudulent documents to them about her job. She is close personal friends with her employer, so she asked him about what was said to the car company.. only to find out that they never contacted him. Now fueled with rage, she contacts NAP to see what's going on. Told that everything was ok, and she just needed to do a "welcome call" with bank. So she calls the bank, speaks to them...they welcomed her, told her how much her payments were and when it was due, verified her, ect. Further into the future, another call comes when she is out of state working, telling her to return the car or the police would be notified. They said financing fell through, AGAIN because of the "fraudulent documents" and not being able to verify emoloyment (with the boss that they never called). But then asked for $500 MORE towards the downpayment of the deal that had just fallen through. When we questioned them about paying for a deal not in place, they said the they had an approval and we had to pay $3500 cash and needed to come in and resign. A day or two later, as we are figuring out if we can come up with what they claim to need, we get yet another call from the salesman saying we needed to return the car asap because they reported it stolen. And to top it off, he informed her they intend on keeping her trade-in car as payment due to the miles she put on the car she was going to purchase. When she started to get upset at him, he cussed at her and accused her of theft and that he has wasted too much time on this deal and wasn't making any money on it. We call the police department to see what our options are and if the car was indeed reported stolen. We got a call back and were informed we were okay to drive it back and could get our trade in back as well. When we got there, they tried making her sign something that said she was responsible for a ton of fees totaling about $2000. She refused to sign anything and was only given her keys back after refusing to give them theirs. She then asked for the title back for her trade-in... Their response??? They didn't have it. She was then told she never gave them one! THEY "lose" a title and once again, blame the customer for their screw-ups. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! READ AND RE-READ ALL THE REVIEWS ABOUT THIS PLACE BEFORE MAKING YOUR DECISIONS. They try to up the payments on you and keep anything you take in for trade as "payment for services" (like mileage on a car you were trying to buy). They take no responsibility for their lack of professionalism or inability to effectively do their jobs. And they back each other up on their lies. That's the only good quality I saw at this place...comradery. They cover each others lies and defend them to the very end. Don't walk away.... RUN away! More

they wouldn't give me back my money after transmission went out not even 2 hours after buying it. pressured into buying more expensive car or given 2 other cars choices to trade straight across for that went out not even 2 hours after buying it. pressured into buying more expensive car or given 2 other cars choices to trade straight across for that was worse than the one paid for but no money back pulled credit with out my knowledge pulled cars 10,000 above my budget even though i said time and time again that i wanted to stay around 20,000, they told me and a couple of friends, that the car i ended up with was around 23,000. and all said and done an them miss leading me not answering my questions charged me 40,000 on a car worth 21,000 and i paid 19,000 that 5,000 didn't even reflect on my paper work but i have all the receipts said they would fill the tank and detail vehicle didn't do either one of those things asked for a five star rating to get a full tank of gas kept pressuring me to sign and sign while i was trying to read what i was signing they used the car that broke down very first as a trade in and didn't give me the total i had paid cash on so they screwed me out of money that way as well. We are in a legal binding with these people who weren't honest and upfront with us about what we were signing and I get the feeling they knew that, but they cared more about getting us legally stuck so they could steal my moms money rather than do the right thing and see what she could actually afford and be real and honest with us. It breaks my heart to know that there are people like this out there. Just know what you are getting into read all the contracts and make sure contracts match what car salesman are verbally saying because once you sign it doesnt matter what they said it's what you sign, Thanks.
