"2nd bad experience with national dodge service center"

I lease a truck from National Dodge in a Jacksonville NC, I've had my truck for a year and a half. My truck wasn't starting, (even with a jump) and wouldn't recognize my key. Therefore I called the dealership and they sent a tow truck to get the vehicle. Perfect! They also assured me that my truck would take 3 hours to fix and that they would send someone to pick me up and take me back to the dealership to get my truck when it was finished. I left it at the dealership at 1pm, at this time, satisfied. This is when the problems began. 6:30pm rolls around and I decide to call the dealership to see what the hold up is, the person who answered was having trouble finding out anything about my truck or what was going on. When he did figure it out he said that the person who was handling it left for the day and that it had been ready for some time now. I asked if they would be sending someone to pick me up, where he told me that they did not have the staffing at the time to do so & I needed to be there by 8pm in order to get my truck. So now without a ride, due to it being Halloween and my family and friends with their small children. I am without a truck, and without a ride to work in the morning. I will be calling back in the morning. Thanks National Dodge.

"GREAT JOB"

We had our Dodge Challenger serviced only to notice a few days later that one of our value stems were missing. We stopped by on a Saturday and spoke with "Darrell Graham." WOW - that's all we can say about him. He was wonderful. He got us right in and made sure everything was done correctly. Darrell Graham deserves a HIGH FIVE and a SHOUT OUT for going the extra mile! THANKS Darrell...you are truly a blessing to National Dodge in Jacksonville, North Carolina. PS...Robbie Yates is the BEST! He always speaks and knows us by name. "Great service Department."

I'vs never bought a car from this dealer, but their service department rocks. They will service your car, and deliver great customer service. Don Atkinson helped us with our Jeep, since we bought it from an irresponsible dealer (which I regret) they helped me fixed the service lights from the Jeep and collected the payment from the irresponsible dealer at fayetteville kia. I will be servicing my Jeep at this location, since they work with you and call back for any issues.

"Dropped the ball on the warranty service."

I had to give them one star as it won't allow you to continue without selecting something. I dropped my vehicle off to have a replacement key made for my 2013 Dodge Challenger. the key was lost during a family outing at the beach and the warranty I had covered a replacement key within 5 years or 100K miles. I had about two weeks left to take advantage of the warranty so I expected no problems. i contacted the warranty company first to make the claim and ensure I could take it to the dealer. They approved the work. The dealer said it would only take about 45 minutes to create the key and finish the work. on the date of my appointment I brought the car to the dealer and waited as it should have taken less than two hours total. After three hours the service tech came and said they needed to run the car for 45 minutes in idle so the computer would allow then to read the key signature. i asked why it took so long to get to this point because they were asking my permission to run the car in idle for so long. they said they could not find the key at first and then it took them a couple hours to figure out that the computer needed to run for that long to reset the computer to be able to sync the new key. keep in mind that I made the appointment about two weeks earlier. When I went to check out the cashier wanted me to pay for the key. I said check again as it is a warranty service. I ended up having to talk to the Manager to get a copy of the warranty that signed five years ago when I bought the car. this is something that they said they could do. I gave them the claim number and phone number of the warranty company when I made the appointment. When I tried to use the key the next morning it would not work. when they got it back they took two more hours to figure out that the sync did not take. additionally, I discovered they did not provide an emergency key with the fob. They told me I had to pay for the emergency key and I discussed it with them to discover why it was not part of the "key" that is under warranty. When I called the warranty company, After I got home they said the dealer did not provide the emergency key part number when they quoted the parts to them. By this time it was past the deadline date for the warranty and I could not get reimbursed for the emergency key. It was not cheap. I am trying to decide if I want to pursue this further and get the dealer to eat the cost. the failure was on the dealer for not providing the full parts list to the warranty company. my failure was to assume the dealer knew what parts they needed to order. If they had provided the full parts list the emergency key would have been paid for under the warranty. In this instance I am not happy. I hope someone from the dealer reads this and seeks me out to make this right.
