Honestly, I had never heard of New Motors until yesterday. I live in southwestern PA, just a little over 2 hours from Erie. I was interested in purchasing the 2024 Golf R, and came across their l yesterday. I live in southwestern PA, just a little over 2 hours from Erie. I was interested in purchasing the 2024 Golf R, and came across their listing yesterday morning. I hit the "build my deal" button and was skeptic when the "sale price" wasn't showing any market adjustment, but I went ahead and submitted my information and waited for a response. I heard back from Keisha in the the online sales department and the reply said that, "No, that's the price, MSRP. We don't markup our cars." I then moved from skeptic to cautiously optimistic and started the paperwork before I left the house. My son and I hopped in the car and made the two hour drive, where we saw the Lapiz Blue Golf R sitting up front ready and waiting for us. That's when we met Levi, who handed me the keys and said "Want to take it for a drive?" After the drive, we walked through a couple of items before heading into the finance office with Nate. I had already completed the credit application before we hit the road, and the finance person had done a great job finding an amazing rate and having everything ready to go. We signed the paperwork on a "digital desk," which made it easy to see and follow the details. After locking in the 6.75% rate (which was pretty great in today's economy), we talked through the only "sales" piece of the whole transaction, and that was regarding service plans and gap insurance. We talked through some options, and ultimately I opted only for gap, There was absolutely no pressure though. It was just a great straightforward conversation, and all of my questions were answered along the way. Nate was fantastic, and financing was painless. How often does that happen? After about 20 minutes of digital paperwork, we were back with Levi, who handed me the second set of keys and then we did one last walk around before getting back in the car for a run through of all the features and controls. Within just 1.5 hours after having arrived, we were back on the road and I just couldn't believe it. In less than 10 hours, I had found a car and a dealer, wrapped up financing, and took delivery of my first Volkswagen. It was genuinely the best and easiest experience I have ever had purchasing a car. Like I said, I did not even know this dealership existed yesterday morning, but I now highly recommend them. They do not mark up their vehicles, they do not use any high pressure sales tactics, and they stuck by what they said they would do. I have purchased three new cars prior to this, and this was hands down the best experience I have ever had buying a car.
