Came in for Oil Change, Had to Return for Check Engine Light After an oil change the check engine light would stay on. Returned to have the light reset and found that the Gas Cap had lost it's seal between some how. The cap had not been removed by me because I had a full tank of gas. So this leaves a question as to how the gas cap lost its seal right after having the oil change and service completed? So after paying for an oil change, this cost an additional $120 for the diagnostic process it took to find the issue, not to mention the hour and half wait time. Not happy with this experience and will move on to another Service Shop after more than 10 years. More
Pleasant surprise Service was prompt and courteous. I was assigned to a very pleasant lady, Michelle Smith who kept me posted and explained the service done on my car. I don't know who the mechanic was but my 10K check up was done without a hitch. A huge improvement from previous experiences there and their new waiting room is very comfortable with complimentary beverages and a huge TV. Apparently they now offer free manicures and massages but I did not get one. I did get a free car wash. Unlike the past, I would now recommend this service departments. More

You should always question the necessity of any "recommended" service/replacement and ask "if I don't do it is it a safety concern". I've rarely over heard Newark Toyota trying to convince someone with little knowledge about vehicles that they needed something when it wasn't necessary. The cabin filter (and air filter) is one where I think their prices could be better. I purchase mine at Walmart and install at home. All dealerships should do it at cost since the time spent to check is the same whether it's replaced or not. People would be more willing to have it down if it wasn't a profit generating service. More

Worst car buying and service experience I have ever had We purchased a 2004 Tacoma with a 3" fab tech lift kit and only 60,000 miles the truck was beautiful to look at and well taken care of that's where it We purchased a 2004 Tacoma with a 3" fab tech lift kit and only 60,000 miles the truck was beautiful to look at and well taken care of that's where it ends , paid $100 to get the windows tinted and 2 days later received a call from the salesman stating that the vehicle was not tagged and told I needed to get it inspected ??? Told them I just paid for the Windows and they only gave $50 first red flag ,put windshield washer fluid in and found the resiviour was broken , keep in mind that we were sold an extended warranty on this truck for about $1800 , when we took it in for the broken resiviour the solution from the service department was to not fill it up until it leaks ??? Then the water pump broke and after that the AC compressor exploded , every time we took it in it cost us a $100 deductible ,after that the right side cv axle boot broke and threw grease everywhere and a rattle had developed in the front end , took it in and were told therattle was from the fab tech 3" lift strut bushing which wasn't covered buy the warranty because it was aftermarket even though they SOLD us a bumper to bumper extended warranty ??? They agreed to fix it and then called and said the replaced both struts , we went to pick it up and the two new struts were stock and lowered the front by 3" and they told me that was the way I brought it to them ,xxxx Newark Toyota to xxxx . Please do yourself a favor and and don't even look at that piece of xxxx astablishment as you drive by More

I'll always go to Bruce Low/Toyota for every car!! Bruce was able to find me a great car that's nice to drive, to look at:), and is reliable, despite my limited budget.
