Waited 3.5 hours for oil change- left without service done Scheduled appt 2 weeks out for oil change and tire rotation. Asked about a part. After 3.5 hours, the car still wasnt looked at. Key replacement We ordered a replacement key and door fob. It took well over an hour before my wife was notified that they were having difficulty seating the key. F We ordered a replacement key and door fob. It took well over an hour before my wife was notified that they were having difficulty seating the key. Finally it was suggested that we will have to have our van re-keyed to make the replacement work. The customer service agent charged my wife for service and parts for a key that does not work. This is beyond absurd and I would like to speak with the service manager to discuss further. We have always had our vehicle serviced at Newark Toyota but after this experience I will look elsewhere. He called within an hour with a work estimate, offering, but not pressuring, various options I might consider. He called midday telling me the work was completed, the final amount of the bill, reconfirmed my shuttle pick up time, which the driver hit to the minute. No concerns about going back in the future, no need to seek other service providers, they do it right. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and attentive. More
