TOYOTA doen't know the difference between SALES & SERVICE SALES service on Cleveland Ave on my new 2015 Prius was Exceptional, But the SERVICE center on Marrows Rd was Horrific. On 10/17/2015 from 09:00 am SALES service on Cleveland Ave on my new 2015 Prius was Exceptional, But the SERVICE center on Marrows Rd was Horrific. On 10/17/2015 from 09:00 am to 01:15 pm, INV 90143, I waited 4 Hr's & 15 minutes to have my concerns addressed, On Line ‘A’ was Not documented properly & therefore Not properly resolved; On Line ‘B’ was Close to what I put on the paper that I gave Jeff Herrod & Westley said he would call me by Monday on Mirror parts (but never did); On Line ‘C’, It was properly documented, but TOYOTA Screwed Up by Not making the 2014 & 2015 Trunk Cover the correct way (like the 2007 Prius); On line ‘D’, Jeff did document my problem correctly, but the resolution was NOT documented correctly, Actually, the mechanic had to download a New Program B4 the DRL would work. On Line ‘E’, Another Screw-Up by TOYOTA Corp & Jeff did Not document the problem properly (see My paper below) that I gave Jeff describing all my concerns, Paper I gave Jeff on my Problems : PROBLEMS PROBLEMS PROBLEMS PROBLEMS NOTE : 2015/09/27 (Sun). Drivers side Front Tire ‘Low Tire Pressure’ @ 20 Lbs, Orange light came ON. There was only 576 miles on the car ????? NOTE : New RED 2015 Toyota Hybrid ‘Prius Persona’ Auto-Dimming Mirror with HomeLink has 3 Switches & should have 6 buttons. I wanted the mirror with the Compass (what is in my 2015 Toyota Instruction Book). NOTE : Trunk Pull Over Cover does Not stay Up. NOTE : The DRL lights do not come on. NOTE : Radio -> The Volume varies GREATLY going from SAT(12), AM(40), FM(40) & Phone & MAP(GPS). Plus, the Tone of person talking changes periodically as if he/she went into a different room ????? Jacob was the leader of the team working on my car. In the end, I needed a part, and so my car had to stay overnight on top of all that. I am a long-time Toyota owner, and a long time customer of Toyota World. Generally, I really get good service at Toyoya Workd, compared with Price Toyota service. This is the first time I feel disappointed. You can read my past reviews. They were all good. And what happened to the days where my car would get vacuumed and washed? My the labor part of my bill was also very expensive when compared to the work accomplished. I had recommended Toyota World to my boyfriend who has a Honda. He has been very impressed with your work until this visit as well. More

BUT---Never before had I been told I'd have a 3 hr wait time for regular service. Good thing I brought busy work to do. Fresh coffee was made even thought it was after 3 PM. Hmmmmmm sure needed it after hearing the wait time. Would be nice if the car wash was kept operating. My van was expecting to get a much needed wash but it's still waiting. Maybe today... More
Need to Stick to the Basics - And Get Them Correct During a recent visit to Newark Toyota World for 50K service (oil change), I was left wondering what exactly took place during the visit. My advisor, During a recent visit to Newark Toyota World for 50K service (oil change), I was left wondering what exactly took place during the visit. My advisor, Jeffrey Sherrod, told me that in addition to the oil change service, they would perform a complimentary fluid analysis, and a "mutli-point" safety inspection. I asked that the tire pressures be checked as the recent cold weather had cause them to register as "low" on the pressure warning system. When the service was completed, I was surprised to see that my invoice included a $15 labor fee in addition to the oil change service costs. I was also informed that the car wash was not in service that day;but that they "didn't think I would take my car through that anyway". A few minutes down the road, I noticed that the tire pressures were all reading the same as when I arrived. Hmm? Then when I reviewed the "multi-point" inspection document closer I saw that the pressures were set to 35 each and that the battery was not checked. I wondered was going on, so I called and left a message for the service advisor, Jeffrey Sherrod. That was 10 days ago and I have not received a return call. . How can I have any faith in what was done to my vehicle during this visit? More

Just when you thought they couldn't improve on the great service they p My family has been doing business with Newark Toyota World for over 15 years. Just when you thought they couldn't improve on the great service they prove you wrong. On my recent trip for routine maintenance I was blown away by the remodeled service department and waiting area. Not only was it aesthetically pleasing but their customer service was also stepped up a notch. They treated me like I was valued repeat customer in a Lexus dealership. I recommend this dealership to anyone who has a Toyota to use this dealership for all of your service needs. More
