Long Day. I had an appointment at 9:30 on a Saturday. I arrived at 9 am and was greeted very professionally. Wes was very helpful and was able to describe the I had an appointment at 9:30 on a Saturday. I arrived at 9 am and was greeted very professionally. Wes was very helpful and was able to describe the issues I was having with my "new to me" Rav4. The service department was very through in trying to find what was causing the issues I was experiencing and when Wes came out he let me know they had not forgotten me but were having a hard time pinning down what the issues were. When he finally was able to tell me what was wrong he was very informative and because the the mileage and length of time I had the vehicle was able to cover a portion of the cost. He then was going to call my sales person to discuss the other issue they had found as it would not have been covered under the "normal" coverage of a used vehicle. I let him know that I had a 2 yr bumper to bumper warranty and gave him the paperwork for said warranty. He made the necessary calls and found the warranty company needed further information before approving fixing of the issue. Wes said he would contact the person who takes care of the inspection paperwork for the dealership so they could send it on to the warranty company. He said that this would be done on Monday and he would call me to make an appointment to fix the 2nd issue. As of today, I have not heard back from the service department. I made contact with my sales person yesterday and he told me he would look into and get back to me. I have not had any communications from him as of this afternoon. I spent from 9 am to almost 2:30 pm in the waiting area of the service department. The folks were really friendly and helpful. I was able to have lunch (pizza) that was supplied by the service department. Hopefully, I won't have a long wait when going in to have the 2nd portion of my issues fixed. More

Tried to get an appointment for over a week.. Tried to get an appointment for over a week for a brand new car. Called everyday and was transferred to a reps voice mail ( Wesley ) who never returne Tried to get an appointment for over a week for a brand new car. Said he wasn't in etc would call the next day - he never did. Finally I had to get a little demanding and finally got another rep ( Dacia) that actually scheduled the appointment. THIS IS UNCALLED FOR. The problem was that when I turned on my defroster, the radio would not work. Problem is crossed wires and it needs a new back window. I have no problem with waiting for the window to come in. But begging to schedule a service appointment is UNCALLED FOR. My first Toyota and may be my last if this keeps up. More
