Quick and easy My experience was excellent while waiting for my car to be serviced. The waiting room was very comfortable with coffee, TV, donuts...very pleasant. New 2017 Toyota Sequoia SR5, upgraded package In 2001 we bought our first 4Runner & because of that car, my wife will never buy another brand. Since then, she's got another 4Runner in 2004. In 2 In 2001 we bought our first 4Runner & because of that car, my wife will never buy another brand. Since then, she's got another 4Runner in 2004. In 2006, she saw the Sequoia, loved it and leased one. We've never looked back. We bought all of our Toyotas since the 2nd 4Runner from Carousel, now Team Toyota. Good service & the people were nice enough to deal with but they were never exceptional I love to shop for cars and a few months ago, I posted an inquiry to Newark Toyota World re: a car I saw that they had posted. I didn't make a move @ that time but since then Lidia, an internet rep for NTW, would check with me via email from time to time to see where I was with the new car situation. She was great because she did 3 things that I liked. She asked what or if I was was in the market, she had my history & knew what I was looking for, and she was, my favorite, very nice and courteous. Currently my wife had a 2014 Sequoia leased. The warranty was about up, new tires would be needed, and its fun to get a new or upgraded car! Carousel/Team sent us notices telling us to come on in and trade our old one for a new Sequoia & ballparked the new monthly payment. I called them last month to inquire and it took about 4 business days to respond and then added they had nothing in stock matching what we wanted. Last week we got another note so I called Carousel/Team that evening. Again, no inventory so I ended the call. The next morning, 3-17-17, Lidia checked in and I asked her what she had. She was very helpful yet again. That evening, the wife and I saw they had what we wanted. A black Sequoia SR5. But this one had the upgraded package. This included power third row seat, power and heated front seats, leather seats everywhere!, navigation, and the compass/homelink/auto dimmer rear view mirror. We called NTW @ 6:40 and talked to a gent named Tom. We mentioned what we had and that I'd previously worked w/ Lidia from time to time. We told him he had what we liked and that we'd be there by 7:30. We got to NTW by 7:10 or so and were immediately greeted by a young man who directed us to Tom. Tom noted that he's the internet manager and that he'd get us with a salesman. Introduce Mark! Nice, polite young man. He got us the Sequoia to drool over and offered that we take a test drive. Right after the test, I noticed NTW had a beautiful 4Runner Limited that was discounted. He quickly got us that car to test drive as well, and did so w/o any hesitation. I LOVE the 4Runner, but my wife is still in love with the Sequoia. So we chose the Sequoia. Long story short, I know, Mark got us the numbers very quickly, was very patient when we asked about getting any lower which he worked on with his manager to find a quick remedy for our request. No issues, we all agreed and Mark notified the financial team and the new car delivery team to get that beauty ready. My wife emptied out her car, our kids hung out in the playroom and got some balloons from a very nice gentlemen who was nice enough to get my daughter another ballon after she let go off hers! By 8:40, we were in financial signing on the dotted lines. By 8:55 we were outside getting our pic taken in front of the new Sequoia and by 8:59 and 30 seconds we pulled out of NTW. Happy and excited for the adventures that would be awaiting us in our brand new, strong, beautiful, and well equipped 2017 Sequoia. The whole transaction was a blur, but it was great! Everyone, from Lidia to Mark made it so easy! Thx again NTW and you can rest assured, I'm coming in to NTW for MY next car! Jason And Marie Solum 3-23-17 More
