Horrible after sales experience I bought a 2014 RAM 2500 diesel in October of 2019 with 65K miles on it and have waited until now for this review. The buying experience with Austin B I bought a 2014 RAM 2500 diesel in October of 2019 with 65K miles on it and have waited until now for this review. The buying experience with Austin Bohatch was pretty good and didn't take long, good financing too. The only thing I take exception to with Austin was his slow response to my repeated inquires after sale. After sales support has been unfortunately very poor. Firstly, they made an honest mistake in the taxes owed as I am out of state, but then when I questioned why I owed more money the response from Holly Lanphere was a very low quality and unsatisfactory answer to my initial request for a simple explanation for the additional funds I that owed. She simply could have said please check the section of your purchase agreement that pertains to taxes being estimated, but instead she just curtly said I owed the extra money, and with no explanation at all!!! After three emails, she finally addressed the purchase agreement and said they were refunding my tax portion paid and I would have to handle that portion at my local DMV. I've been in the Customer Service industry for over 40 years and expected more as a customer. I thought I was the customer bringing my money and business to you? I guess when you are the owners daughter and new at your position it doesn't matter much about alienating the paying customer? I paid my taxes in my state, however this treatment couldn't have been more customer unfriendly by the Lanphere group. Secondly, the truck came with a free Sirius account for 90 days and I tried repeatedly with Sirius to get connected but no luck. Sirius says the signal is sending but not receiving so a bad Sirius module. The dealer I took it to verified this. Thirdly, the check engine light came on after 600 miles of me owning it the code that was present was for an emission sensor fault. I had someone check the codes and it they been cleared before the purchase. What do you know? I called Newberg Lanphere and asked Austin about these things and he said "Sorry.....its out of warranty and have to take it to the local dealer." In summary, I will tell anyone I know who is interested in purchasing a vehicle to stay away from these people. If I could give zero stars I would. More
