I have been going to newbold since 2013. I have always had great service from them. Their mission is to take care of their customers. The service staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. When issues were identified, they resolved them, and when issues were more complex, they coordinated with service managers to find solutions. We took our Tacoma to the local service center that we have used before for an oil change. The seal was stuck and the technician was unable to complet the service and broke the housing unit in the process have used before for an oil change. The seal was stuck and the technician was unable to complet the service and broke the housing unit in the process. he technician said this is a common problem, but there does not appear to be a recall. We had an appointment on 12/23/25 at Newbold to get the housing unit replaced and the oil changed. We had to pay for the repair. On 12/28/25 the engine lights all came on and said to check the oil, the truck was totally out of oil. Newbold replaced the housing unit but failed to replace the center plug and O ring. After multiple times attempting to contact, Newbold refunded what we paid for the replacement so we only had to pay Victory Toyota for repairing it. Regardless of the refund, this should not have happened, we are concerned there may be future issues with the engine since we drove it without any oil. Will not return to Newbold to purchase or for service. More
