Beware women buyers. My wife purchased a vehicle from this business yesterday. She didn’t have a great experience. Ultimately, she did obtain a good car at a fair price, My wife purchased a vehicle from this business yesterday. She didn’t have a great experience. Ultimately, she did obtain a good car at a fair price, but she did have to endure a negative buying experience. The salesman, his manager and (especially) the finance guy were all very disrespectful. My wife is tough and I’m not going to try to “protect” her because she’s more than capable of taking care of herself, but I will just provide one anecdote from the finance process. The finance guy tried to sell her VERY HARD on gap insurance. She didn’t want it. He became upset and refused to make eye contact with her for the remainder of the transaction. “What happens if you wreck on the way home?!”. They finish up. He doesn’t shake her hand. In fact, no one shook her hand at any point. However, this is the part that kills me. On her way out the door, the finance guy says, very ominously, “Have a safe drive home.” My wife said his tone was sarcastic. Newbold do better. More
