We were looking for a Rav4 with specific options, and found one at Newbold. I have dealt with many used car salesmen/saleswomen over the years, and Dan does not fit the mold. Jeff Cox and Tony Hopkins have been overly helpful We had some issues on our old Prius in the service department where we complained about an excessive noise coming from the front tire - they told us "we checked your suspension, everything is fine" and sent us home..?? They ended up making it right after realizing that it WAS the wheel bearing like I suggested. If they would have listened to me in the beginning, when I said it sounded like a bearing instead of looking at it, they told me "Prius wheel bearings don't generally go out"... well after weeks of waiting for a toyota certified person to come out - he told them.... you guessed it, it was a wheel bearing. So we drove around for a month on a car under warranty waiting for toyota specialist to come out to the dealership and listened to a god awful grinding vibration noise (for a month) because it was under warranty there. Ultimately, they made it right and apologized for the inconvenience. Three months later we made an appointment for an oil change and showed up on time. They told us it would be about 30-45 minutes just to get into a bay to get an oil change. What's the point of the appointment? Could they have called me and told me to wait 30 minutes before coming so I could be seen in a reasonable time? They also said that it was going to be at least another 45 minutes to an hour for said oil change to be completed. I ended up leaving, with no oil change and getting the work done elsewhere. If you want a remarkable sales and finance team that aren't pushy vultures who stand out in the parking lot waiting for you while you peruse... this is the place to go! They will be patient with you and not talk to you like you're an idiot - they will answer questions and search through cars and options and financing for hours with you with no complaints. If you want timely SERVICE - you're better off taking your car to another, possibly smaller, toyota dealership or toyota certified shop. They are 0 for 3 with us. More
