An Honestly Great Purchase from a great REP We researched on cars.com and found a certified pre owned used car for my daughters upcoming birthday, that was listed at Newburgh Toyota. We supplied our info and requested information if the vehicle was still available. We were promptly called back by a wonderful, upbeat person named Debbie. I expressed my interest in the vehicle and was told that the car was still available and she would forward my info to a salesperson. I asked that she please send me to someone "nice", having looked into quite a few dealerships, I had about enough of the fast talking, shady and pushy tactics. This is where we met Dane. What a breath of fresh air. He was courteous and friendly. He did not just sell me car, he genuinely cared about our purchase and went out of his way to make sure that our purchase was smooth and easy. He even put a balloon on it for her when we picked it up. His integrity is what sold us the car. Toyota stands by itself on its quality, (we have 4 Toyotas now) and its nice to know that there are sales reps who sell more than just cars , they form friendships based on trust and service. We will return to see Dane in May for our 5th Toyota. Great Job Dane, it was a pleasure to meet you and do business, I know that you will go far, you are truly an asset there. Don't ever change ! However, in regards to the Finance department, I was not impressed by Randy. He was fast talking, quite pushy and condescending. We paid cash for the vehicle, which may have annoyed him, because he works in the finance department. He did not want to honor the Black Friday deal of a free tablet with purchase. Dane quickly told him that Yes, we were entitled to it. It was an 8gb tablet anyway, not a big deal, but that was the advertised promo and should have been honored without question but Randy did not want to honor it. See what I mean about shady. I was not impressed and will make every effort not to be handled by him next time. I would give the dealership 5 STARS in friendliness but gave it 4 because of Randy's attitude. More
