This is the title for my review. I wanted a new Tacoma to replace my old tacoma, because Tacoma for life. I hadn't bought a vehicle in 14 years, so I kept it simple, I didn't want to I wanted a new Tacoma to replace my old tacoma, because Tacoma for life. I hadn't bought a vehicle in 14 years, so I kept it simple, I didn't want to deal with the xx common to buying a vehicle, so I went and got my own loan on my terms. Done. Then I went to prestige Toyota. The salesman sat me down and went through an entire performance complete with props, essentially explaining to me as if I was handicapped, why the price is set, and there will be no further discussion on price. Flipping page after page in a faux menu with picture and words, ended with "and that's why we don't negotiate price, the owner firmly believes if you don't like the price, he will simply sell it to someone else". I want to be clear about this. I don't care about the owner, his name, his health, what he wants, or his ideas about fixed pricing. The owner and his presentation mean nothing to me. You meet me in the middle of invoice and msrp, or I walk. I'm buying a vehicle. Not sitting through a lecture on someone's goofy view on how his best interests are being served. So, prestige lost my sale. But, as they said, they can simply sell to someone else. This is fine by me, at the end of they day, they didn't sell to ME. So I took a drive to Newburgh. The salesmanship was night and day, as were the facilities. Professionalism 360* all the way around. Large lot, lots of choices was my immediate impression, super imposed against a ramshackle operation in a cramped lot next to the owners Kia dealership in Kingston. I was immediately greeted by two members of the team, one of them being Jabril. He accompanied me during the SHORT AND PAINLESS sale. I knew what I was looking for, test drove, and made up my mind. Coordinated with my bank and Newburgh. The price satisfied me. It was simple and overwith without the need for an owner prompted dog and pony show on why the owner dictates what isn't and isn't going to happen. None of that actually. I bought this truck like I buy laundry detergent at hannaford. In and out. But the best part is this- coming from Kingston, on the day I was to pick up my new truck, I would need to find a way to GET to Newburgh. My salesman drove 45 minutes to pick me up at my doorstep. Without batting an eyelash. This is car salesmanship at its finest, last time I checked. Make it easy to buy. And Jabril was a problem solver, as well as the sales manager, closer, and parts room, who all did their part to source and ship the components I wanted on this truck after the fact. Great team they got there. I tell this story to anyone interested when they ask about my new truck. Because the difference a trip down the throughway makes is staggering. Tl;dr- skip prestige and go to Newburgh. A good sales team deserves business. More

I was able to turn in my Jetta which was a lease and get into another lease without having to return my lease to Volkswagon, Toyota did it for me. Seth was very understanding was worked with me in staying within my budget. Picking up my new car took a little longer than I had wanted. I feel that alot of what I waited around for could of been done before I arrived. The plates still had to be put on and the car needed to get gas in it. All in all a very good experience for me. More

I went to 6 other dealerships and test drive other SUV similar to this but the highlander give me the satisfaction that I am looking for and the service and experience is great in this place.
