I was looking for a used Rav 4 at a specific price point. I had emailed all the dealerships in Conn., Mass., N.J., N.Y. and PA. making offers on vehicles I was interested in. I took public transportation up from staten Island to my sister's house in Washingtonville the day after Christmas to find myself a car and drive it home. The first and only car I looked at, and test drove, was my 2011 Toyota Corolla that I drove home in the following day. The price was reasonable, it was in perfect condition, no accidents and I was able to finance with Toyota to start building up credit since I didnt have any. I appreciated the treatment I received from the employees there and they had no trouble answering any of my questions. The reason I didnt purchase a car on Staten Island was because after Hurricane Sandy, there was alot of cars that had been destroyed,ruinned, and I just didnt want to take the chance of purchasing a lemon and having to deal with getting a replacement car or my money back. Staten Island would not allow me to test drive a car without putting a small down payment on the car first that I was interested in. I asked questions that the salesman wouldnt answer for me which I found to be very insulting. I dont need to feel uncomfortable and spend my money with a local dealership when I am able to shop elsewhere which is what I did. More

When I arrived at the dealership the vehicle I was interested in was there on the lot ready for a test drive. Tom Relyea was expecting me a took me out for the test drive. Tom was helpful with all the paperwork and all went smoothly without a hitch. By 4pm that same day the car was ready for me to drive off and I did just that!
