Good experience at Newburgh Toyota buying a used Highlander I went into Newburgh Toyota knowing exactly what I wanted to look for after shopping around local dealership through the internet. Newburgh Toyota had a wde selection of certified pre-owned Highlanders, but also had some of the best deals. I made an appointment online in order to not have to worry about waiting when I arrived on a busy afternoon and in order for the salesman to know exactly what I was looking for that day. My salesman, Jabril Torres, was professional and not pushy like some salesman. I felt like he was honest with me and gave me a good deal. Two days after having the vehicle, the battery died- likely from sitting on the lot from June to October. I was stranded at work and had to walk home-pregnant I might add. The service department didn't feel that they should be responsible since the battery checked out fine in June. The customer service lady at the sales department was pretty rude to my face. I spoke with the sales manager, Doug Bell, and he got the battery covered for me, free of charge. The service manager later called my husband and apologized for the inconvenience of having a dead battery. More
