I went to the Toyota-Scion dealership in Newburgh because I received an invitation from someone who works for Toyota's Internet department. I was told that I should visit Toyota and consider trading my 2010 I received an invitation from someone who works for Toyota's Internet department. I was told that I should visit Toyota and consider trading my 2010 Rav 4 for a new Rav4 and that basically it would be a swap because the dealership was always looking for well kept Toyota's for sale at Toyota certified. The person set up an appointment for me to meet him at Toyota. I kept the appointment and was disappointed not to find this person at Toyota, however, Mr. John Graffeo was very attentive and courteous to myself and my family. I gave him a very high rating because my experience with him was a very good one. Mr. Graffeo was very friendly and warm. We never felt pressured into making a deal. He was very honest and we felt he gave us the best deal possible. This is the first time I have dealt with Mr. Graffeo in all of our years buying a car at Toyota. I buy all my cars at Toyota and have been doing so every 5 years since my first 1989 Toyota Corolla All-trac. Mr. Graffeo spent several hours with us and we left purchasing two cars. ( A 2009 Toyota Corolla and a 2011 Rav 4. I have confidence in Toyota cars and I will continue to purchase Toyota cars. John Graffeo is a very good, kind and patient salesman and we had a great experience buying a car from him. During our visit with him, we were interested in learning about his horses and felt sure That he was a very honest person. In the future if I were to buy a car, I would certainly want him to be my salesman. My only disappointment was NOT with Mr. Graffeo. It was with the dealership. The Internet salesman that phoned me and invited me to come in, I felt was not being honest. He told me that basically he saw the history of my car and the maintenance upkeep and that Toyota may be interested in swapping cars with me for a newer model for about the same monthly price. I didn't get the car for around the same monthly price. This person was not truthful and also he made the appointment with me and did not show up. This is not a good sales practice and I did not appreciate this, especially since I am a very old customer of Toyota. Other than this experience I really enjoyed the experience of purchasing my two Toyota cars. Thank you Mr. Graffeo for the time you spent with us in selecting two great cars. More
