I was in search of a Jeep Wrangler Arctic Edition vehicle; I search high and low until I received information that Clare Dodge had the vehicle I was looking for. I was a bit skeptical to even call at first due to the fact that I live in New York and the car was in Rhode Island. I didn't want to get the run-around that I got in New York. Many dealerships want you to come and visit them, even if they don't have the vehicle you are looking for, they give you false promises, and say that no matter what it is, they can find the vehicle you are looking for. Which is completely FALSE (for the particular vehicle)! I took a chance and called. I had so many questions and didn't even know where to start. Bob and Sheena were so helpful and patient with me, it honestly felt like I was working with old friends rather than a schemey sale associate. Bob and Sheena went above and beyond my expections. We finalized all the information over the phone and took a drive to pick up my brand new Wrangler. They had all the paperwork ready for me to sign. I think that the whole process took less than 45 mins. Since we didn't expect to be done in such a short amount of time, we had time to sightsee Rhode Island before heading back to New York. Chris was super-friendly and not-at-all pushy from the very first phone call, when I explained what I was and was not looking for. Chris's advice and insights were sound. When it came time to negotiate the deal itself, both Chris and Bob were extremely helpful and reasonable. I was given several options to mull over, re leasing vs. buying, again with no pressure, but some good advice. I also asked a ton of questions and tend to do a lot of agonizing; they were patient and helpful. This all did stand out from some of the other dealerships I visited. This one just felt very friendly and relaxed. Most of which is due to Chris, who went above and beyond, with empathy (I was trading in my very first car), support, and helpfulness -- before, during and after the sale. I know I could drop by and he would still be helpful (because I already have and he already was). Really, a superstar! More

I had only visited a couple of dealerships before this, and I hated the thought of coming here. Typically, the salesman, finance managers, etc. are very high pressure and play games with you on pricing, trades, etc. Not here. After my test drive, I was walking back into the show room with the salesman and he said that he didn't want to play games with the process. We sat down, discussed some particulars, and got a final price in a few moments. When I told them I needed to discuss the offer with my wife, they said absolutely and to let them know when I was ready. While I was deciding, the sales staff stayed in touch but in a conversant and not pressuring manner. All in all, Clare made an offer I couldn't refuse and I pulled the trigger on the purchase. The sales manager was great, and the finance manager made the loan process a breeze. They even delivered the vehicle to my house because the schedule with our kids wouldn't allow us to get out there! The last time I purchased a vehicle, the red carpet treatment ceased after the deal was complete. However, our salesman touched base with us to make sure that all was well with the vehicle. We actually had a small problem with fumes. Instead of ignoring us, our salesman continued to make us a high priority, despite the inconvenience of needing to get the vehicle back to the dealership for repairs. We were able to get a loaner for the day while the repairs were made. The whole time we were assured that the problem would be resolved and communication remained excellent. The next time I need a vehicle, the first place I am looking is Clare Dodge. Don't be hesitant to visit (especially if you are on the "mainland" of RI) because of distance. The drive will be worth your while, and you will make some new friends in the process! More
