Sold car unsafe for the roads. I bought a 2017 Certified Pre Owned Chevy Cruze from your Chevy Nielsen Dover NJ dealership. I already had secured financing from a different company. I bought a 2017 Certified Pre Owned Chevy Cruze from your Chevy Nielsen Dover NJ dealership. I already had secured financing from a different company. When I bought it they told me their finance guy was not in and I would have to come back to finish the paperwork but I can do some that day and still take the car home. I come in another day to finish the paperwork and think that should be it. Well, a couple days later they call me and need me to come back to come in and give them some more information. Then about two weeks after buying the car it starts to shake a little bit and three different warning lights come on at the same time (Check Engine) (Service Stab III Trak) and the (ESP Light). I call up the service department and they tell me I can't bring it in for a couple days cause they're too busy. While I'm waiting to bring it in they call me again telling me they still need me to come in and sign some more paperwork, I tell him I'll sign it when I bring the car I just bought to be serviced. When I bring it in they call me later that day and tell me the car is not safe to drive and needs a good amount of work and will not be ready for me to take for about a week. They then tell me they have no loaner cars and when I asked about me renting a car from a rental company and have them pay, they said they can't do that. Then I call back and ask to speak to a supervisor, then I was finally able to secure a loaner car. If I did not do that, I would have never been given a loaner car for the car I just bought two week's prior. The issues that's wrong with my car is a piston cracked on the number one cylinder, Malfunction Indicator Lamp Illuminated With DTC P0300 they have to replace the four piston, rings rods and the bearings that’s what they're placing and reassembling the motor when all the parts come in. I have never experienced a car with so many problems that is supposed to be "Certified". How could Chevy certify a car that is not safe to drive. It took a little over a week to fix my car. I came to drop off the loaner which they was dirty when they gave it to me and they didn't even remove the stickers that were on it. When I dropped it off I told them it was between full and three quarters full, she said they will then charge me 5 dollars for every gallon to fill it. What made me more upset is nobody seemed to care that they sold me a car with so many problems, they were all nonchalant about it, as if I was dropping it off to get an oil change and nothing was wrong with the car. I wish I never bought that car and will never recommend anyone to a Chevy. I use my car for work and since my work car has to in my name I was out of work for the week. I bought the car because I heard good things about Chevy's, but now I wish I went to any other dealership. You make me feel like once the car is sold you don't care about the customer. Now I have to worry that once the car comes back how long before it breaks down again. I bought a car and can't even drive it, that's what Chevy sends out as Certified Pre Owned. More
