Around October 2025, I brought my 2017 Jeep Cherokee to this dealership because it repeatedly stalled or shut off while I was driving, sometimes would not restart, and had a check-engine light. I trusted a this dealership because it repeatedly stalled or shut off while I was driving, sometimes would not restart, and had a check-engine light. I trusted a Jeep dealership to properly diagnose and repair a Jeep vehicle. The dealership told me that the fuel pump needed to be replaced, and I paid approximately $3,500 for the repair. Unfortunately, it did not resolve the problem. Not long afterward, the Jeep stalled again, leaving me stranded in New York. I had to have the vehicle towed and take an Uber back to New Jersey, which cost me more than $100. I returned the Jeep to the dealership and was told that the replacement fuel pump they had installed was defective. They replaced or repaired it again. However, the vehicle stalled yet again, so I brought it back for a third time. I am still unclear about what was done during that visit other than the check-engine light being turned off. The original stalling and shutoff problem continued. During this same period, both of my parents were seriously ill and hospitalized. Because I needed reliable transportation, I also had to pay out of pocket for rental vehicles. My mother passed away on January 30, 2026, and dealing with that loss and my family crisis delayed me from writing this review sooner. The last time I called the dealership, I spoke with a woman named Pat and explained that the Jeep had already been brought in three times for the same unresolved problem. Her response was, “It sounds like you need a new vehicle.” I told her that I did not believe that was an appropriate response to a customer who had paid approximately $3,500 for a repair that did not correct the problem. I never received a follow-up call from management. I eventually gave up on this dealership, although the Jeep continued to shut off and stall unpredictably. I have now taken it to an independent repair shop to obtain a proper diagnosis. I am extremely disappointed that I paid approximately $3,500 to an authorized Jeep dealership, in addition to towing, Uber, and rental-car expenses, yet the original problem was never resolved. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dealership for vehicle diagnosis or repair. I expected Jeep-trained professionals to accurately diagnose and repair my vehicle, but instead I was left with the same unsafe and unreliable condition—and thousands of dollars in expenses. When I got into the finance office and declined the add-on products, the finance manager suddenly told me I needed to write an $8,247 check. I showed him a photo of the deal we had agreed to. He left the office, spoke with the “big boss,” and came back saying they would honor the $1,200 down and $1,200 per month — BUT that the $1,200 down did not include the first month’s payment, the $895 doc fee, or DMV/registration fees. I was then told that Nielsen “always collects those fees up front.” That was absolutely not how the deal had been presented or agreed to. I spoke with another manager, who continued to insist that I was wrong. At that point I had heard enough and walked out. My advice: get the EXACT total amount due at signing in writing before you waste your time going there. Make sure it specifically includes the first payment, taxes, doc fee, DMV, registration, and every other fee. A quoted “$1,200 down” apparently may not mean what you think it means at Nielsen. More

I went to Nielsen Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram for a uconnect update. I told George my advisor that i have also been hearing some clunking noise when i go over bumps from time to time. He had my Durango rt inspected and found the motor mounts damaged, something that i did not expected. A two day job he said. George got me a vehicle to drive back home. Two days later my Durango was as good as new. I been there multiple times and it is always the same. Top noch care and service by everybody involve. They always treat me like family by making sure that am always satisfied. Once again thank you George and crew for your care and quick turn around. You guys rock!
