Disappointment Today I leased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The purchase of the vehicle took a tremendous amount of time and required my wife and I to spend hours in the de Today I leased a 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The purchase of the vehicle took a tremendous amount of time and required my wife and I to spend hours in the dealership. After finally finishing up the paperwork, I took the car home only to find that the button to automatically close the trunk did not work. I immediately drove the vehicle back to the dealership. When I entered the dealership requesting to speak with the salesman that sold me the car (Anthony Dangelo), I was told that he was on break so they found me another sales representative to speak to. This new sales rep walked out to the car, looked at the problem, and told me to drive around back to the service department. I drove the car around to the service department and it took about a half hour to find someone to come and fix the problem. The service department was able to fool around with some of the wires and eventually fix the problem. There are several reasons why I am upset with the way this situation has been handled. As I am writing this review, the salesman who sold me the car (Anthony) has STILL not reached out to find out what the reason for my return to the dealership was. In my opinion, Anthony should have immediately followed up with me to make sure that everything was OK with my new purchase. I also feel that since the car was BRAND NEW, I should not have been told to drive the vehicle to the service department. One of the employees should have had that taken care of immediately. No one should drive home with a brand new car and have to return to the dealership ten minutes later because something is not working properly. What upsets me the most is the fact that once Jeep had made this sale, I was no longer treated as a priority. The mechanical issue with the car now became my problem, just minutes after purchasing it. This was very poor customer service and it was extremely disappointing to have an encounter like this occur. In addition to the problem with the trunk, I have just realized that my car is not fit for a license plate in the front. Because I live in NJ, I need both a license plate in the front AND the back. Again, I am going to have to make a trip back to the dealership so that they can resolve this problem. I am extremely disappointed with not only the mechanical issues with the car, but also the very poor customer service I have received after the car was purchased when attending Nielsen Jeep in East Hanover, NJ. I will surely not be returning, nor will I be recommending this dealership to others. More

SATISFIED!! I found Nielsen after looking for a car in 2014. After a few negative experiences elsewhere I decided to drive to East Hanover and try Nielsen Vito Carenza was the salesmen I met first. Right away I felt comfortable. Not once did I feel he was just doing the "SALES" thing. Long story short I leased a Jeep from him. Since then I have been using their service dept and again not disappointed. Service is a huge plus, without that and without a positive experience there as well I would not return. Now 2016 Leased my SECOND Jeep from Yes Vito. We are 2 for 2 > No complaints he went out of his way to get me what I needed and where I needed to be. Also Jenniver in service A GREAT ASSET. always accommodating to the customer and very pleasant to deal with. I LOVE NIELSEN More
Worst service EVER I made an appointment 1.5 to 2 weeks in advance. I bought my vehicle in on the 23rd before 9am. The service writer Erin, seem to have an attitude when I made an appointment 1.5 to 2 weeks in advance. I bought my vehicle in on the 23rd before 9am. The service writer Erin, seem to have an attitude when I dropped it off (first flag and I should have went to the other service writer who received the great reviews). But, I gave her a chance. I was told that I would receive a call later on and she stated that they might not get to my vehicle that day which I didn't understand. But I was leaving town to go on vacation so I didn't think it would be a problem, but was I in for a shock. She called me before the end of business day and said she assigned it to a person and he would be getting on it first thing in the morning. So no call on the 24th. I called the morning of the 25th, and she told me they were waiting on my warranty company to send out a rep to inspect my vehicle. I found this very odd when I wasn't informed of anything nor gave an oral approval. So I called my warranty company and they said this wasn't true and they found it odd that I didn't get a call first. So I called to speak to the manager Manny, who told me he would look into it and give me a call back. No call at all from him. So I called Mrs Erin, back which I got her voice mail. So my fiancé called and asked for Manny, which I spoke to him via 3way and asked him what was going on and why didn't I receive a call back. He said he forgot and he will hit me back in 15mins. I waited an hour and I called back and demanded my vehicle. Which this is now the 27th. I would never recommend this place to anyone and please STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! More
