I sold a car and Anthony took my tile and plates AND CAR!!! And told me to come by in a week for the check then gave me the run around telling me come tomorrow come the next day..It took Danville Nissan CAR!!! And told me to come by in a week for the check then gave me the run around telling me come tomorrow come the next day..It took Danville Nissan 2 weeks to give me my check. I said well I will take the truck back and they said that they will give me less if I take it back...I will never do business there again. More
I had a horrible experience here and walked out certified check in hand! Their sticker prices are VERY overpriced for used cars. I looked at a 3 year old Sentra with basic parts that was not certified pre- check in hand! Their sticker prices are VERY overpriced for used cars. I looked at a 3 year old Sentra with basic parts that was not certified pre-owned and was listed at 14,985. Meanwhile the Edmunds TMV was only 9865! They would not even consider coming down to a fair price. While we were holding our ground, two sales managers came over. At first, they were simply insulting our intelligence, and then they started getting downright belligerent. At one point they tried showing us a print out from Kelly's Blue Book that had a completely inflated number. I don't know what search criteria they plugged in, but I had already printed it out myself, so at that point we walked out. They are either completely dishonest swindlers or incompetent business men who bought the car at too high a price in the first place. Either way, do not buy from these people, and never sit down without checking the Edmunds TMV. They also use old school haggling tricks, which I found a bit outdated given the amount of info on the internet these days. More
I didn't have a horrible experience with this dealer, however, my purchase was as simple as it gets. I offered to pay what I considered a fair price for a new vehicle, and they offered a reasonable pric however, my purchase was as simple as it gets. I offered to pay what I considered a fair price for a new vehicle, and they offered a reasonable price for my trade-in. I'm sure I could have gotten a better price/trade-in with more haggling, but a couple of hundred dollars when buying a $30,000 car isn't worth the hassle. I had already been to two other Nissan dealers, and the trade-in offer would not go any higher. I also paid cash, so there were no games played with the finance rep. However, I was a bit startled by the fact that after I gave them the keys to my trade-in for their inspection, they never gave them back. I was asked to produce a title and was told that they were going to hold the trade-in until the sale was final. They stated they didn't want me to damage it or put any more miles on it. They provided me a rental car for 48 hours until my car was ready for delivery. In effect they made me a "captive customer". I could no longer shop around, because they had my trade-in. So if you shop here with a trade-in... Hold on to your keys and keep your shopping options open!!! More
I was dealing with Spencer over the phone and negotiated a price (out the door cost) so we wouldn't waste too much time at the dealership. When we came into the dealership, he made us wait an hour (cause he a price (out the door cost) so we wouldn't waste too much time at the dealership. When we came into the dealership, he made us wait an hour (cause he was with other customers), and then instead had another salesman work with us. Then we were told that the total price was not including other "fees". They refused to offer us the $500 college graduate rebate that Nissan advertised online. On top of all that, the manager, Frank, kept yelling "Get out!" from under his breath multiple times. In my book, that is very unprofessional - a manager should never speak to customers in that way. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The only person that was nice and helpful at this dealership was Domingo, who tried his hardest to help us with our requests. More
the guy at the front seat, named Washington doesn't know how to talk to a customer. Within 2 mins of entering their showroom, he pissed me off so much that I had to leave. He kept on asking me silly and stu how to talk to a customer. Within 2 mins of entering their showroom, he pissed me off so much that I had to leave. He kept on asking me silly and stupid questions and was just wasting his time, not interested in selling the vehicle at all. I'd never recommend someone to this dealership if person like him work here More
THEY SUPPOSEDLY FIXED MY NEW CAR'S HORN ABOUT 5 TIMES. IT REQUIRED 10 TRIPS THERE BECAUSE THE PART WAS NEVER IN STOCK. NOW WHEN I WENT THERE AGAIN BECAUSE THE HORN BROKE AGAIN, THEY WANT ME TO PAY HUNDREDS O REQUIRED 10 TRIPS THERE BECAUSE THE PART WAS NEVER IN STOCK. NOW WHEN I WENT THERE AGAIN BECAUSE THE HORN BROKE AGAIN, THEY WANT ME TO PAY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR "DIAGNOSIS". SHOULDNT IT HAVE BEEN OVERDIAGNOSED BY NOW? HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD IT TAKE TO DO IT RIGHT? THIS KIND OF TREATMENT IS WHY CONSUMERS SWITCH TO ANOTHER BRAND. IT DOES NOT SHOW VERY WELL FOR NISSAN QUALITY. THIS FAILURE TO FIX A NEW CAR'S PROBLEMS SHOWS A DISTINCT LACK OF QUALITY FOR NISSAN PRODUCTS. NO WONDER OTHERS GO TO OTHER CAR MFRS TO BUY A NEW CAR. More
I really wish I could give less than a 1 on this review but.....I'll settle! Anyway...I cannot stress enough to anyone in the market for a car to stay away from this crooked, no good, cheating, swindling d but.....I'll settle! Anyway...I cannot stress enough to anyone in the market for a car to stay away from this crooked, no good, cheating, swindling dealer! My girlfriend and I went in to lease a Nissan Frontier 1 month ago. We were asked what was the most we could spend and not fully understanding the do's and don'ts of leasing answered our maximum amount but stating that it wasn't where we wanted to end up. Just a figure. Well after many trips back and forth to the manager our sales rep DON CHONKO made us feel that we were cheap and lucky to get the deal we got. Agreeing that it was the payment we mentioned we signed our lease...er, well...an electronic pad. We never actually saw a lease document nor was one given to us. Just a very vague summary of charges and constant reassurance that any charges didnt affect the bottom line ..when infact they ARE the bottom linee as we have now learned. After being there for almost 5 hours and beccoming thoroughly confused we left with our car and what we thought was a decent price. Days later Nissan sent us our 'actual' lease. On it, with all of the 'packed items' and misc charges we spent almost 6000. more than the MSRP. Basically, I will pay off by lease end the original value of the car had I financed it. Plus, our trade and money down were never even counted on the lease!!! Additional charges where added on ( to the dollar) to negate any extra we put in. Another 5k down the drain. Now, these lowlifes won't do a thing about any of this but have the nerve to admit that we were screwed and told us that we were stupid and shouldn"t have signed for a payment like that. They said and I quote" Yeah its immoral but, not illegal.". Be careful next time"...nice huh. This is my 3rd Nissan and my girlfrind has had 4. We would have probably spent another 100 grand over our lives at this dealer had they been honest and not looking for a quick buck,,,now, we will never buy another NISSAN AND ARE ACTUALLY going to pursue LEGAL MATTERS AGAINST DENVILLE NISSAN!!! Even if we lose or spend more money, we just want them to pay somehow for what they did. Rotten, horrible, scammers is what Don Chonko and Mike the sales manager are. I truly wish them nothing but the worst from here on out!!! People...research leases on the net. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING AND UNDERSTAND WHAT HOW ALL OF THE FIGURES ARE COMPUTED!!! Learn from our mistakes!! More
Went to the dealership to test drive a Nissan Rogue and ended up leaving with an 06 Nissan Altima. The sales person Washington was fantastic he knew when to stop being pushy which was good. Now comes his b ended up leaving with an 06 Nissan Altima. The sales person Washington was fantastic he knew when to stop being pushy which was good. Now comes his boss I cant remember his name but he was a real jack***. He is the most pushy and irrogant manager I have ever met. He said to me that if I dont get a new car TODAY then the value of my trade will be going down faster. I wanted to think about it but he wouldnt give me my car keys till I decided on what car I wanted. I will only go back to this dealership for Washington, if anyone wants a Nissan see Washington and say Chris sent me, he will give you a great deal on a car. More
My girlfriend and I were visiting the local dealerships to see what used vehicles they had to offer. We ask the sales rep what the price and mileage was on a vehicle on their lot and he evaded our inquiry to see what used vehicles they had to offer. I went to Denville Nissan to trade in my 2005 Toyota Rav I went to Denville Nissan to trade in my 2005 Toyota Rav 4 for a 2008 Rogue. Since the make and model I wanted was not available and today is Saturd I went to Denville Nissan to trade in my 2005 Toyota Rav 4 for a 2008 Rogue. Since the make and model I wanted was not available and today is Saturday, I was told they would give me a rental car until the car could be delivered in a few days. I waited for almost an hour for the rental, which was supposedly coming from Enterprise Rental Company in Denville. The person who came to Denville Nissan said to my sales representative that I had to go with him to the actual rental agency to fill out the paperwork. I found this to be odd. When I saw the appearance of the man who was to drive me there, I asked for some form of identification from the Enterprise rental agency. He said he was the person who washed cars and did not have identification. My sales representative offered to give me a ride to the rental agency. Again, I thought having to leave the dealership in the first place was unusual. The sales manager and I drove to the car rental agency. When we arrived at Enterprise car rental agency, all the doors were locked and no one was to be found. I waited as the sales representative walked around the building and could not find anyone to assist me. My sales representative tried very hard to find someone but to no avail. At this point, I began to get nervous about this situation and contacted the financial manager about the situation. He said to tell the sales manager to return to the dealership and they would give me a loaner car from the dealership. I thought this would have been a much better solution in the first place. I was told this situation with Enterprise Rental Agency has never happened before, however, since this was my first experience at Denville Nissan, I am not sure if that is true. My personal safety was compromised at this dealership and with their relationship with the car rental agency. I was shocked this dealership allowed me to leave in the first place for a rental car. I will not return to this dealership again nor will I recommend it, since this was the worst car purchase experience I have ever had. More
