Dishonesty! I thought I would share my unpleasant experience with this dealership. I contacted Nissan 24 and spoke to Ali Lewis to confirm the vehicle I saw on l I thought I would share my unpleasant experience with this dealership. I contacted Nissan 24 and spoke to Ali Lewis to confirm the vehicle I saw on line the night before was available. I explained I was driving far, over an hour, and wanted to verify the vehicle was on the lot. She confirmed it was, but I've been down this path before where the computer and what's actually on the lot are different so I asked her to get in the vehicle and make sure it was a non-smoker and to walk around the vehicle to ensure there weren't any major scratches. I partly do this for the obvious, but also to have a human physically touch the vehicle. She called me back about 10 minutes later and said "a manager got in the truck and it's a non-smoker and he said the condition outside is good". I responded that "good" in car terms is actually bad. Describing condition is very subjective so I was going to see for myself anyway. It was also pouring rain at this point so I asked Ali if she could pull the truck inside. Rain makes looking at the condition of a car very hard as it hides any imperfections in the paint. She said no problem and that she would have it brought into the service garage. So I changed my plans, drove an hour in the pouring rain and pulled up to the dealership. I didn't see the truck outside, but I also wasn't expecting to since it should be inside. I spoke to the first salesman I saw and asked him to grab the keys. After about 10 minutes he comes back with no keys. The salesman and I searched the whole lot to include the service bay and not vehicle. Come to find out the vehicle I called about that morning was sent to Adessa (dealer car auction) in Framingham 2 days prior. I don't use this word lightly, but I was lied to. Talk about a dishonest person. Did she hang up the phone with me that morning and wait 10 minutes before calling back? What would be the purpose? I'm looking to buy an off brand that this dealership wouldn't have an abundance of. I really have no explanation. I tried to elevate to Ed Kardon, Executive Manager/Owner of the dealership, via email and a phone message, but never got a return call or email. Being in the customer service business where honesty and integrity are paramount I would have thought he would be interested in my mistreatment. I'll never do business with Nissan 24. No respect for me or my personal time. More
