Pathetic experience. The salesman, Matthew Cotten, started with, “Let me be your advocate”, which is insulting to this buyer. If he works for and is paid by the dealership, he is their advocate by law started with, “Let me be your advocate”, which is insulting to this buyer. He promised follow up calls, promised to get me Weathertech Floor Liners at dealer cost, promised to be back with me the day after the sale and again in 2 weeks. It has now been 15 days and I’ve never received a call from him. The only reason I purchased from this dealership is because they had the truck I was looking for. It’s my fault I compromised on what I would accept for my trade in. They used every tactic to berate the value of my vehicle after posting on their website a $500 bonus over KBB value, then they devalued the truck substantially over the come-on price they had offered me online. If you want to deal with Nissan of Cookeville, I recommend you take Vaseline with you. More
