I decided to spend the time waiting by hitting the sales department to learn about my options besides purchasing the Rogue. Who knew I’d walk out that day with my new 2019 Rogue! Donnel was my sales man and new to the job so Bishoy quickly joined us to answer all of my questions and present me with all options broken down clearly on paper. Bishoy listened to what was important to me and then was able to offer me a lease that fit perfectly into my longer term plans. I’m a single, 52 year old woman who has no issues with having to do this alone but it can still feel like you are getting ready for battle entering a car dealership. Very bad experience with salesman Paul Stamatis. Seems others had a good experience with Paul however mine was not. Spoke with him and told him I was on my way from M'Boro to see a listed Murano. First thing, as soon as I arrived he pushed me off on another salesman. Test drove the vehicle and decided I wanted it. However, I needed to know the exact amount, so I could take it to my credit union the following day. I gave them a $500.00 check to hold the car until after I knew about financing the following day. We texted back and fourth most of the day. They had made a 1k mistake on my paperwork and I was asking for them to cover that since it was their mistake. He would not. So, I finally said I would take the vehicle at that price and sent him a picture of the approval letter from the credit union. This was Memorial Day w/e and I asked him to call me to work out all of the details since it was a holiday w/e and knew my credit union would be closed. He said he would. Didn't hear from him until the following day and he sold the vehicle to someone else. That was very unprofessional, unethical and just wrong. He had a check of mine to hold it and also knew I was approved for financing. I called to speak to Mr. Stacy and spoke to his assistant to report this and have yet to hear back from him or her. Maybe this is how this dealership does business but I consider it very unprofessional. This is not a dealership I would ever do business with. Maybe I was treated like this because I am an older single lady, can't imagine them doing this to a male customer. I also have a complaint form to file with the TN Motor Vehicle department and I am contacting the BBB. Businesses should not be allowed to treat people any way they want to fatten their wallets at the customer's expense. More
