This was the worst experience ever. They called the quote we got from Baron Nissan a lie and told my husband he should learn how to do math. They wanted $50 dollars more a month and expected 5k down whereas we got from Baron Nissan a lie and told my husband he should learn how to do math. They wanted $50 dollars more a month and expected 5k down whereas Baron wanted $0. The manager got in my husbands face as we were leaving and said "oh this is going to be fun" as he tried to start a physical altercation with my husband. The people who run the dealership are classless, uneducated jokes who pray on the uneducated consumer. A word of wisdom, do your research if you plan on shopping there. We were there to buy two cars that day, instead we walked out laughing and went to Baron Nissan where Jared took good care of us and gave us the price we were told up front knowing we were going elsewhere to shop around. Do not go to Garden City Nissan unless you want to run the risk of being assulted by an over aggressive uneducated manager who doesn't take well to no thank you. I feel bad for any woman who tries to tell this man no in a social setting. FYI - we got a fully loaded 2009 Maxima SV premium & technology package 0 down financed 63 months $616 at BARON NISSAN, GO THERE!!!! More
they advertised a price for a pre owned car on the internet and they promised me that i'll get this price, but after all the promises they just overcharged me with over $2000 more then the agreed on p internet and they promised me that i'll get this price, but after all the promises they just overcharged me with over $2000 more then the agreed on price, i asked them a few times during the financing process why the amount financed is so much but they assured me that that's only the full amount before taking out my down payment & trade in value, and i was rushed to sign all the documents without having the ability to review them, & guess what, when i came home & i looked over at all the documents i just realised that they simply ripped me off with more then $2000, & there is no one to talk to at the dealership about it More
I made an offer on an online car and they agreed to it. They said we had to take it home the same day for insurance purposes and the we would have to sign a secondary contract which held us to financing wi They said we had to take it home the same day for insurance purposes and the we would have to sign a secondary contract which held us to financing with them if I didn't return the next day with a bank check. (A deposit was taken on the car by credit card). When I returned the next day, the sales man, Ellen in Administration and the Sales Manager were not there. I was given a receipt and that's all. I didn't even get the paperwork required by N.Y. State. Here's the good part. It seems that they decided to withdraw the advertised "Certified Warranty" on the car and never told us. It never was a negotiating point nor was it mentioned as we closed the deal with the paperwork. We came back to the dealership to clear up all the uncertainty and again Ellen was not there. We were assured we could handle the rest by phone as we live quite a distance away. Days have gone by and they refuse to respond to our calls. Then the salesman inferred that perhaps there was co warranty but he couldn't say for sure because the people who could weren't taking our calls. I called their other dealership and after they checked for us, we were told that since we got the car at a good price that they withdrew the warranty and we were told. NEVER HAPPENED! I never would have bought the car without a warranty. Bottom line - they are liars. More
While I loved my salesman, the rest of the staff stinks here. I got a good deal on my car, but you cannot get an answer from anyone in Customer Service for various issues. You cannot get an answer fro here. I got a good deal on my car, but you cannot get an answer from anyone in Customer Service for various issues. You cannot get an answer from anyone in the parts or service department for questions - I had to leave a voice message for someone to call me back and they never did. When I called a Customer Service Rep. for assistance, she reassured me she was hired to help clean up the image of the dealership and when I called her two weeks later for another issue, she no longer worked there. When you have to resort to contacting the sales rep. to get someone from the service department to call you back, something is wrong here. More
I was interested in conducting some research and taking a test drive of the Nissan Rogue. I spoke with Marissa who called me and we set-up an appointment for a test drive on Wednesday 10/17 at 6:30. Before test drive of the Nissan Rogue. I spoke with Marissa who called me and we set-up an appointment for a test drive on Wednesday 10/17 at 6:30. Before I hung up I told her I was conducting research and that I was about 1-3 months away from purchasing. Also, I asked her will there be a Rogue to test drive and she confirmed she had one for a test. She called to confirm my appointment the morning of the 17th. I arrived at the dealership at about 6:40PM to no one at the reception desk, dance music playing and the facility looked like it needed a good clean up. Finally, an employee who must have been working on a deal because he did not acknowledge me for about 5 minutes, came over. After I explained to him that I was here to meet with Marissa to take a test drive of the Rogue, Marissa miraculously could not be found. I was passed off to a Victor D. who took me to see the Rogue on the showroom floor. He explained to me some of the features and showed me around the car while asking the standard probing questions to get a feel for a deal. It appeared to be a nice vehicle and fit our family needs! As usual Victor was only interested in making a deal THAT NIGHT without a test drive because I was told that NO ROGUE'S WERE AVAILABLE FOR A TEST DRIVE!! I TOLD HIM NO TEST DRIVE NO DICUSSIONS OF A DEAL! He then asked me when I was coming back and I told him "when you have a Rogue for a test!" Victor's appearance was not professional and it seemed that his sales experience was limited. When I asked for information on the Rogue, miraculously again none was available. I asked for a business card and was told he had none and he gave me a card out of the paper shredder for a person who was purportedly his sister. He proceeded again to ask me when I was returning as he was writing his name and contact number on the back of the card and of course the question of a trade-in came up! NOTE TO NISSAN OF GARDEN CITY, VICTOR AND MARISSA -- YOU LOST A SALE!! I'M NOT RETURNING!! More
