Once I got to the dealership Mr. Lawson paired me with two salesmen Daniel Reading and another young man who appeared to be a trainee. Daniel was rude and treated me like a bum begging for a free car. The way he looked at me was with pure disdain and like I was wasting his time. He ridiculed my current 1997 Ford Explorer surprised it made it up to the dealership in his words and while chuckling offered me $100 stating he can't do anything with it. In calculating my income he got visibly disgusted when I mentioned in addition to wages I receive child support payments. He told the trainee even though "they get us for child support" don't include those payments in her income. I already mentioned my credit score, that it wasn't great, however I'd be putting down a VERY "large" downpayment. He asked more than once was I good for the downpayment as if I was lying about having it. His demeanor really got worse after he had my credit run stating there's nothing they can do for me and proceeded to tell the trainee to shred up all my paperwork right in front of me. He told me no one was going to finance me and ended stoically there. No thanking me for my time, no have a good evening just all my paperwork being shredded in front of me. It was an extremely misogynistic embarrassing experience and a colossal waste of my time. More
