I would like to tell you about my experience with Nissan of Richmond on Broad St. on 3/5/2021. I reached out and spoke to someone about the purchase of 2020 certified Nissan Altima SL. We spoke via email of Richmond on Broad St. on 3/5/2021. I reached out and spoke to someone about the purchase of 2020 certified Nissan Altima SL. We spoke via email and by phone. I gave them VIN, mileage, payoff everything possible. We agreed upon an out the door price. I took off work as well as my daughter and her mother as well. We were coming from Va Beach which is roughly a 2hr drive with traffic. I had two additional salespeople call while I was on the road inquiring about my estimated time of arrival (eta). When we arrived we were acknowledged by an African American man whom I assume was a sales floor manager. At, first no one could find our salesperson we had an appointment with. We explained we were arriving from Virginia Beach and he said he would find the salesperson we spoke with over the phone. A young man came out from the back and said yes indeed he was the person we spoke with and was aware of the car and the out-the-door price agreed upon. Then he went back to the back of the showroom and we were handed off to another salesperson. The floor manager said the people that I talk with were internet sales out of Florida . Everyone I talk to early I told them to not waste our time we stay in Virginia beach don't want to make this drive for some BS. We were prepared as we had our Navy Federal check in hand. However, we were told that even though they had the vehicle in stock(didn't even show us the vehicle) that they could not honor the deal. They were dismissive, to say the least. They didn’t try to be the least bit accommodating considering we drove 2 hrs because we had numbers we agreed upon. The sales floor manager was rude to us and his employees, Also he tried backtracking the whole deal to my wife and daughter after I went outside with a salesman to look overtrade. It was a very dishonest style of practice. I would not advise anyone thinking of purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to do so. This was a clear display of bad business practices. In this time where there are so many places to do business, it boils down to customer service. We have purchased a total of 4 vehicles in 2 years for me my wife and sons and never experience anything like this. In over 25 years of car buying, I have never experienced this. More
