My car was service The service department is run by aftermarket repair people that should be working for Walmart lube & tire. They are unperfessional. My car was serviced in 2/17/17 and 5/3/17. The car was damaged when the service driver Matt backed my car into another vehicle, because he didn't know how to drive a manual transmission. I had to speak to the executive Vice President Ms Enu who offered to have the car touched up by their paint repair team. I wasn't satisfied with the results. You can still see were the car was nicked from the person that should have never been behind the wheel of my car due to the lack of his driving skills. On 5/3/17 my rim was damaged when I came in for a oil / tire rotation. The service manager on both occasions was rude and nasty. Ms Enu head of the Nissan offered to see if their wheel specialist would be able to correct the damages. I went to alloy wheel repair off of Hendricks rd in Midlothian Va. They repaired the damaged on the wheel that Nissan of Richmond caused. When I called to inform Ms Enu that I was able to get my wheel, that they damaged fixed. She informed me, that she would send me a refund check for the repair. She also asked that I take my car to another Nissan dealership for future services. The service managers name that I dealt with on both occasions last name was Mr Wallace. Take my advice if you want your car looking like it was prior to a service; And expect honest and good work, don't bother taken your car here. Once you leave there with the purchase of a new car, everything about this dealership is down hill going forward. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. Mark was the service advisor on 2/17/17 and Robert was the advisor on 5/3/17. I also noticed a revolving door of new employees all the time, that's not a good sign. More
Live and learn The perfect example of why people don't like car salesmen! My husband and I went in looking for a newer vehicle for him to commute back and forth to The perfect example of why people don't like car salesmen! My husband and I went in looking for a newer vehicle for him to commute back and forth to work which is about 52miles from home one way. We wanted something with very few miles on it, leather heated seats and a backup camera. We didn't tell them a price range for us initially but eventually we did and with that they twisted words. Their used cars don't have price tags on them, with that being said, they brought us a car that we liked and told us it was slightly over our price range but they would "throw in both the leather heated seats ($1500 value) and the backup camera ($500 value)." But we told them it was still over our price range so they dropped it to our monthly range, I believe it was about $10 that they dropped. So we agreed upon the price. Then just for whatever reason the manager (which is who we were dealing with for pricing) dropped the price $4 monthly just for us going with the deal! We signed the paperwork and headed home. I was home before my husband and the children wanted to know what vehicle we got so I went to look one up on their website to just show them one that resembled the one we got and just so happen to find the exact one we got! To my surprise they charged us more than what they had advertised online and to top it off they charged us for the leather/heated seats and backup camera! They did not throw that in! We called them and then after talking to the manager and then ultimately the general manager we got multiple different stories and then they finally offered us the bumper to bumper protection on the vehicle which honestly doesn't cost them a dime if nothing goes wrong with the vehicle considering it already comes with a 100,000 mile warranty. Like I said live and learn and I feel sorry for the next car salesman that we have to deal with because they won't get over on us that easy! The only plus side was our actual car salesman was nice and friendly even though he was not well informed on things. I'm pretty sure he was new. When we initially were talking to him about the leather seats and camera being put in he said that the camera was going to being installed by just taking out the rear view mirror and put one in that has the backup camera in it so we were quite puzzled when we got the car back and that wasn't the case. They took the radio out and put an after market radio with a backup camera in it. More

He will not return my calls and neither will anyone from this dealership. I put down $6000 for this car and have been told he will finish doing his job but nothing has happened. I came from out of state to purchase this car. I don't recommend anyone ever do that for this dealership and do not use Adam Packett. More
REFUSED TO HONOR VIP SERVICE AGREEMENT I PAID OVER $800.00 FOR VIP SERVICE FROM THE SHEEHY * MIDLOTHIAN TURNPIKE, ORIGINALLY THIER LOCATION ON BROAD STREET WAS SOLD TO NISSAN OF RICHMOND I PAID OVER $800.00 FOR VIP SERVICE FROM THE SHEEHY * MIDLOTHIAN TURNPIKE, ORIGINALLY THIER LOCATION ON BROAD STREET WAS SOLD TO NISSAN OF RICHMOND AND THE VIP MEMBERS WERE SENT AN EMAIL STATING THAT NISSAN OF RICHMOND WOULD HONOR OUR VIP SERVICE. AT FIRST WE WERE TURNED AWAY THEN AFTER ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS I WAS TOLD BY SHEEHY THAT THE SALE PRICE OF LOCATION ON BROAD STREET WAS DISCOUNTED BY THE AMOUNT AND NUMBER OF THE VIP MEMBERS SO WE COULD CONTINUE TO GET SERVICE FROM THAT LOCATION, TODAY I WAS TURNED AWAY AND WAS TOLD THEY NO LONGER HONOR THE PROGRAM FOR VEHICLES NOT PURCHASED FROM THEM DIRECTLY. I WAS DISMISSED AND TOLD TO GET MY ONEY BACK FROM SHEEY (WHO ESSENTIALLY ALREADY PAID THEM). TOTAL TRUST IS LOST ON THIS COMPANY WHO HAD BEEN HONORING THE VIP MEMBERSHIP FOR MORE THAN A YEAR AND THEN JUST DECIDED NOT TO. WHO DOES THAT? ONCE THEY GET THE FINANCIAL BENEFIT THEY JUST LEAVE CONSUMERS WITH A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND NO REFUND!. More

I could go in on at least 5 employees who were all involved in my transaction ( Jared, Jonathan, Chrissy, Trevor, Un (I believe that was her name but nonetheless, she is the Store Manager) but I am not going to waste my time. All I will say is when you have to follow up because they do not keep in contact with you after they made the sale. I bought a Nissan Leaf in November 15th, 2016 and did not receive it until January 18th, 2017. They tried to sell me this vehicle, which is all electric, with a faulty battery. It did not charge to the full capacity and surprisingly they did not know until I had already signed the paperwork. They said they would charge it overnight and then meet me halfway in Williamsburg since I live in VA Beach in the am so they could "see" what was wrong with the vehicle. The next morning, it was still not fully charging so they advised that a Nissan headquarters representative will come out and run tests to diagnose it. The Nissan headquarters representative said there was nothing wrong with the battery because it falls within the range of acceptance. (EX: 100% is the normal full capacity. If it is between 100-80%, Nissan will still acknowledge this as the battery getting a full charge.) I was livid at this time because they had me sign the paperwork and THEN told me I wouldn't be taking the vehicle that day because they noticed it wasn't charging correctly. COMMON SENSE: If the battery was faulty, who in their right mind would sign the paperwork and just hope for the best. I then asked to get out of the deal. They told me no because it would cost them money to get out of the deal, etc. I was very persistent with not taking the vehicle so Nissan of Richmond advised they would do a "good will" gesture and contact Nissan headquarters again to have whatever terminal that was causing problems on the Nissan Leaf battery replaced. (I love how it is "good will" when the car was faulty anyways because it did not charge to the full capacity.) Karma got them good because Nissan headquarters agreed to replace the WHOLE battery, so much so that the store manager called me because SHE wanted to get out of the deal. I told her no, seeing how the car is electric, and the battery being replaced is the equivalent to a new engine. THEY LOST MONEY ON THE DEAL! I was just thinking, that's what happens when you try to get over on God's child. Also, make sure you read the contract. I bought the extended warranty but the way it was explained to me was all these "added" benefits were all inclusive and a total price of say $2000 would be charged. OH NO! There were several other charges that I called to get taken off. They insist that the Total Loss Protection is mandatory and can not be taken off the bill BUT it says on the form that you do not need Total Loss Protection in order to lease, finance, or purchase a vehicle. Even after telling them that, they still said they cannot take it off because it is mandatory. BEWARE!!!!!!!! More
If only we could give negative stars we would DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! My husband and I went to this dealership to purchase a used Nissan Leaf (electric car). We test drove a car that charged to 92 mil DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! My husband and I went to this dealership to purchase a used Nissan Leaf (electric car). We test drove a car that charged to 92 miles and included the amazing CarWings service. We were thrilled as the car was amazing and the salesman sold us on a number of amazing features. It was a perfect car, it seemed, for someone who did not want to deal with the nonsense depreciation of the new car experience. However when we went to purchase the car we were offered another leaf, one with only one owner, lower miles and less interior wear at about the same price. The salesman assured us that it was identical to what we test drove and a better deal. So we purchased the car. However, upon getting the car home when we went to link up the car to the Carwings app (you have to register for yourself at home and download at home) wr discovered not only did the car NOT have it but that the model we purchased would require an expensive upgrade to ever get the computer portion of the car to function. My husband called and no one in service or sales had heard of this upgrade and told us that Nissan corporate was making the upgrade up!?! After a number of complaints we got the dealership to admit that they had not read the memos regarding the electric cars and that they needed to retrain their staff on this aspect of the Leaf... After MANY more complaints they agreed to install the system and they would let us know in December when to bring in our car. Still waiting... On top of that the car will not hold a charge. It does not charge to the 80 miles we were told by the salesman that it would charge to (A new leaf charges to 108, so used is obviously less). Not only that but if you charge to 50-60 miles, a mile away from the charger the car will be at 35 miles per hour. We have taken the car in three times and between the techs not knowing how a Leaf operates (they think that a Leaf main battery operates a radio; it doesn't...) but everytime we go they change their story about how the car is supposed to operate. They also repeatedly tell us that if we made more money we could afford a better car. THIS IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH AND I HAVE PURCHASED MANY NEW AND USED CARS!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! More

First of all the sales man knew nothing about the car I was purchasing, the sales manager Keenan was very arrogant and I would not work with him ever again, I waited forever to close the deal on the car, the finance department had hidden fees when purchasing the car and feel of 350.00. The finance agent at the dealership told me it is an fee that will go towards a trade if I total my car. GARBAGE! The dealership has taken a whole month to pay off my trade, but it took only a few days for them to send the paperwork for the new car to the bank. SCAM! The finance department asked for insurance on the car I purchased, I gave them proof and they must have misplaced it. I received a call from someone at the dealer stating that if I do not send them proof of insurance I will receive a fine from the state. I explained that I gave them the proof but to no avail. So I sent out again. I spent 40k at that dealer and I feel the service should have been much better. They are concerned with quantity over quality. I will never shop here again! More

The My husband and I were forced to purchase a new vehicle because of an accident. We went to Nissan to look at Rogues. Purchased a 2013 Rogue SV. The sales and finance went fine but since day one of dealing with the Service Department I have been very disappointed. Free oil changes are fine when they don't take all day even with an appointment. I have had some issues with a few things that I thought were minor but obviously they cannot seem to fix them. After leaving my car for service for an entire week I called to see if I was entitled to a rental car and they said that I was. It would have been nice to have been told that upfront. I have had terrible dealings with the service department not calling me back but saying they left message. Than stating they dialed wrong number. I mean come on!!! Don't out rightly lie to me. Got my vehicle back and was told they fixed one issue but I would need to bring it back in to deal with the other issue because the part they ordered three weeks ago has not came in yet. I bring back my rental pick up my vehicle and the first day driving it I notice that the issue they said was fixed is NOT fixed. My vehicle has been there for almost three weeks and it is still NOT fixed. I am very upset. I call and of course have to leave a message. Hopefully they will call me back and not the wrong number. I feel as if I am stuck now with a car that I don' want!! I am tired of wasting my time driving all the way out there just to turn around and come back. A simple thing like I have never received an owners manual for my vehicle. I was told he could send it to my email PDF form. What the xxxx. I want an Owners Manual. An actual book to put in my glove compartment. When I get my oil changed I would like someone to re-set the alarm that states "Service Due Now". I don;t want to get in my car each morning to look at that! The only person that has been a joy to deal with is Adam in Finance. He has always been honest with me and helpful. More
