I went in for a call back on my steering column and my distributor needed to be replaced. After multiple tries and me not having my truck for thanksgiving, I finally got my truck back after they put the d distributor needed to be replaced. After multiple tries and me not having my truck for thanksgiving, I finally got my truck back after they put the distributor on correctly the second time. As I left I noticed a small “put put” sound as I accelerated but it disappeared and I live 5 mins from the dealership. I didn’t drive the truck again until I had a wedding down in Florida. It made no sound that I could hear, as I play my music kind of loud, on the trip down. On the trip back up it became loud to the point of drowning out my music. I’ve taken it back to them and explained to them the situation and they don’t want to work with me at all about this problem that started after they went into my truck. This was my first and last time dealing with a dealership. They are too expensive in the first place charging 4-5x the amount for the part and then adding whatever labor hours they deem fitting. I learned my lesson. No more Nissan of Richmond dealership. I’ll stick to the local mechanics that know their worth and provide constant service for the customer. Apparently they even left some one else’s keys in my truck as well, go figure. If they want to remedy this problem they could but they don’t seem to care. This is my warning of, explore all options before taking your vehicle to this dealership to have the prices hiked up and your time and money wasted. More
Debbie was great. Work seemed fine, but pricey. 6 hours labor when I was only there for 4 hours and the car was still in the lot half the time, waiting for a rack. Hopefully the engine light won’t come on again. It makes you wonder when it takes several sensor replacements without an apparent root cause of the problem. More
