Went in for service on my vehicle. ..told the young man I was there for de-carbonizing service and for an issue with my windshield wipers, described it to him. Before the check-in ended ..told the young man I was there for de-carbonizing service and for an issue with my windshield wipers, described it to him. Before the check-in ended, he told me I would be dealing with Julie. After I was told my car was ready, I met with Julie who handled the payment for the service. When I asked about the windshield wiper issue, she told me she wasn't told about it, so nothing was done; that a diagnostic test would need to be done. What bothered me after leaving was that I wasn't even offered the opportunity to have that matter resolved that day. Apparently, I would have to have it done in another visit. It would not have been a problem for me to stay while the wiper issue was investigated. If someone else would like to discuss this matter in a phone call, I could be happy to do so. This week visited Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos to for a service matter. After I met with service adviser Leo and on my way out I met Chandika De Silva. while chatting with him I just mention I planning to service matter. After I met with service adviser Leo and on my way out I met Chandika De Silva. while chatting with him I just mention I planning to change my car. He stopped all his work and took me to his desk and laid down and explained all options that I have. what wonderful customer service. While I was with Chandika Leo gave me a call to give an update on my service requirements( Mr Leo always good at approaching service updates). HONDA WILL NOT FIX MY CAR AND IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY. I INITIALLY TOOK THE CAR IN ON 10/22/2023 WHEN THE CAR STARTED OVER HEATING THEY THEY FIXED THE SUCTION LINE TOTHE CONDENSER. THEY ALSO FOUND A OIL L I INITIALLY TOOK THE CAR IN ON 10/22/2023 WHEN THE CAR STARTED OVER HEATING THEY THEY FIXED THE SUCTION LINE TOTHE CONDENSER. THEY ALSO FOUND A OIL LEAK FROM THE TIMING TENSIONER COVER ASND THEY JUST RESEALED IT SO IT WOULD NOT LEAK ANYMORE. THEN ON 10/26/2024 TOOK THE CAR IN DUE TO TROUBLE STARTING SO THEY CHANGED THE BATTERY. THEN THERE WAS A RECALL ON F UEL PUMP AND THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO NOTIFY ME WHEN IT WAS IN STOCK /AND NEVER DID.THEN ON 3/17/2025 TOOK THE CAR IN DUE TO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMING ON AND VEHICLE FEELS LIKE ITS IN NUTRAL WHEN DRIVING THEY DID NOT FIND ANY ISSUES NO REPAIRS DONE. THEN TOOK THE CAR BACK IN /ON / AND THEY FOUND THE CONDENSER LEAKING AGIN AND NOW THEY FOUND A BLOWN CYLINDER HEADGASKET CAUSING OVERHEATING. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME $5636.00 TO FIX IT. THEY SAID THAT THE WARRANTY EXPIRED ON 6/1/2025 SO ITS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE CAR HAD BEEN TAKEN IN NUMEROUS TIMES BECAUSE OF THE CHECK ENGIN LIGHT PERIODLICALLY COMING ON AND NOTHING WAS EVER DONE ABOUT IT. THEY SHOULD HAVE BETTER TECHS LOOKING AT THE VEHICLES ALSO I PAID EACH TIME FOR FOR THEIR WORLD CLASS MULTI POINT INSPECTION WHY WASN'T THIS ISSUED FOUND SOONER? I FEEL THAT THEY WERE JUST SCAMMING ME OUT OF MY MONEY UNTIL THE WARRANTY EXPIRED KNOWING THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY MORE OUT OF POCKET IF THEY WAITING UNTIL AFTER IT EXPIRED TO TELL ME WHAT THE REAL ISSUE WAS WITH THE CAR.
