Scheduled appointment two weeks in advance and presented American Honda coupons offering $9.95 Mobil synthetic oil-filter change and 15% off all other services max. $250. for my '02 Honda S2000 showing 50,9 American Honda coupons offering $9.95 Mobil synthetic oil-filter change and 15% off all other services max. $250. for my '02 Honda S2000 showing 50,965 miles. Service advisor Jalun Watkins was specifically instructed to utilize both offers for invoicing and to perform 52,500 and 60,000 mile services. All good until final invoice and car presented: 1. Invoiced $0.00 for oil-filter change using OEM oil. 2. Invoiced $61.30 for cabin A/C filter service with description "NOT IN STOCK HAD TO BE ORDERED". 3. Passenger door paint chipped. 4. Dirty, oily 17mm wrench left on passenger seat-found when I was leaving the property. 5. Total invoice indicates " MISC DISC. $14.84 The $0.00 charge for oil-filter change was explained as being better because it was rolled into the 15% discount offer totaling a claimed $100.00. At check-in I was informed that invoice would have totals for labor and parts and that amount would be discounted 15% while at check-out $573.53 charged for parts and labor with a $14.84 discount. This was explained as follows: "Each individual service-labor and parts- was discounted 15% so the indicated charges had already been discounted". Lacking the information for individual parts list prices and labor charges there is no way to know if anything was discounted. Zero transparency. When I questioned the $49.95 for "MISC CHG." this was explained as "everyone does this for disposal fees etc.". Next morning returned to Huggins where suddenly the "NOT IN STOCK HAD TO BE ORDERED" part was available and installed and met with Watkins and Service Drive Manager Michael Harvey. Harvey offered nothing, not even an apology for charging me for services not rendered or leaving dirty tools behind. As part of the typical upsell Watkins pitched $671.24 for additional services that we discussed scheduling. After my first Huggins Honda service experience not sure if there will be another. More
