As far as salesmanship is concerned they "MAY" be good (but not the best). But when it comes to making a purchase they will most likely give you a false promise so that you visit their dealership be good (but not the best). But when it comes to making a purchase they will most likely give you a false promise so that you visit their dealership and then they would try to strike a completely different deal. This happened to me on 2 occasions back to back. It happened on Day 1 when I was confidently told a trim and price over the phone by David and when I went there it was like "Oh, I was talking about XXX trim". I turned a blind eye to it and thought maybe it was a confusion or misunderstanding. After all, David did make me test drive a couple of times and I thought I would give business to them. I was almost certain. Come Day 2 I get a VM from Alex (for a new trim I decided) and his VM said I should come in and they will make it happen (meet or beat the quote I had). When I reach there I get a shock from the manager. He said "If you were getting this price then why did you come here, you should have gone there instead". Luckily I had the VM of Alex telling me "come on in, we will make it happen". I played the VM to the manager and he did not have words. I will NEVER visit that dealership again - not because they didn't have the best price for me but because they lied to me, they called me in and then asked me why did I come in if I got a better price elsewhere. I guess the manager didn't even know what Alex promised me over the phone and Alex was simply bluffing by saying that he spoke to the manager and the manager asked me to come in. So...Buyer's Beware - this dealership is NOT recommended at all. I will try my best to make sure none of my family or friends or friends' friends go to this dealership. Bad prices are one thing, but bad work ethics and lying is another and that cannot be acceptable. I hate to give such reviews really, but what I experienced with Cerritos Hyundai is something unimaginable. I am sure this happens to a lot of people out there. So, if you have time to waste or you have extra money to give away then this is the dealership for you. But invest some time in doing more research and you may find a better dealership, a better person and above all a better price. For example, try Garden Grove Hyundai, Harbor Hyundai or Carson Hyundai instead of this one and trust me that you will thank me. Apparently Hardin Hyundai is # 1 in terms of volume but they also weren't that great. So before going elsewhere please try Garden Grove Hyundai, Harbor Hyundai or Carson Hyundai. *** I am an end customer and have no alliance whatsoever with any car dealership. I just want other buyers to know the truth.*** More
I went to this dealership last night, not looking to purchase a car. My salesman, Alex Fuller, was very helpful not pressuring me, but answering a lot of my questions I had on the Veloster. I was consid purchase a car. My salesman, Alex Fuller, was very helpful not pressuring me, but answering a lot of my questions I had on the Veloster. I was considering waiting for the 2014, but by the end of the night I walked out with a 2013 Veloster Turbo. I got a great deal; lower than the Truecar estimated value. Alex was great, I told him how much I wanted to spend and he made it happen, and continued to even help me get a lower price. I am very grateful to have Alex help me, especially standing out in the cold yesterday. This guy, even stay after the dealership was closed to answer question before I drove off the lot. thanks again. More

He took us on a test drive and went through and explained the features of the car, the radio, how the odometer worked, the eco energy saver button etc.. He was able to answer our questions and was very polite and listened to all our questions. He did not pressurize us into a sale like most salesmen do. We knew what we wanted and he was able to put our mind at ease about our choice/model of the Hyundai we wanted. The offices were pretty clean and decent too. Thanks again Vito for your great service. It was a pleasure doing business with Cerritos Hyundai!! More
I am not a fan of car dealership and sales men, I have always had the sense all they want to do is take all my money. My family and I have not purchased a new car in 15 yrs but were in need of a new family vehicle, I had heard the advertisement on the radio as we were driving on the 605 fwy and made a quick decision to stop. My wife and I looked around and saw a car we liked, at this point one sales person had approached us however we brushed him off and look around some more, then Vito came out a short time later. He simple said if we need help he would be able to help us and kept his space, he let us make the first move when we were ready. Vito made us feel very comfortable, no pressure, always helpful and positive. He show us 2 cars we went on a test drive and my wife like the car. Vito and your finance Dept. were very helpful and made the purchase a pleasure, we drove home with our new car and not unsure we made a bad decision or what just happen. We were very happy with our experience. To this day Vito does follow ups and we stay in contact. More

My wife and I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from this place about a week ago and it was an awesome experience. If you are looking to buy a Hyundai, we would definitely recommend this place. My wife' place about a week ago and it was an awesome experience. If you are looking to buy a Hyundai, we would definitely recommend this place. My wife's 2011 Honda accord was coming up for the end of lease so we needed a new car. For some reason, this newer Accord wasn't as reliable as our old Accord from 1991 as it gave us a lot of minor but annoying problems. We really wanted to purchase this time around so we did a lot of research online to find a car that will give us 1, great value, 2. long term reliability. 3. looks and performance. After doing my homework, we narrowed it down to two choices, the Mazda 6 and the Hyundai sonata. We first went to the Mazda dealer to check out the car and it actually wasn't a bad car. We liked the car but I wasn't too impressed with their lack of effort to help us looking into different finance options. Maybe they didn't like us asking too many questions. Off we went to the nearby Cerritos Hyundai dealer. We were greeted by the sales rep at the door who was very professional yet friendly enough to make us feel at ease. His name is Alex Fuller. He was very helpful and informative from start to finish. We had no intention of buying the car on the same night but we ended up leaving with our brand new 2013 Sonata approximately a couple of hours after we got there! We knew of their internet specials on 2013 sonata models and we let Alex know exactly what we were looking for. Since we got there around 6pm, we really didn't feel like wasting too much time on other cars or models that we had no intention of buying. He showed us the car, next came the test drive, which we were more than pleased with. Then came which we thought was going to be the hard part, financing. We told Alex that we didn't have too much money for a down payment and we needed to look at all different options. We wanted to make sure we had the best possible financing option for us and Alex was great in helping us and answering all of questions professionally and courteously. It was evident that this place really wanted our business. We didn't even have all of our paperwork that night and we still left with the car that night. Definitely recommend to buy a car from this place, they have the best staff!! More
I found David Aguilar very knowledgeable of knowing the Hyundai Elentra and explaing everything about it. The car that he showed was the one that I was looking for. He explained everything very clear. T Hyundai Elentra and explaing everything about it. The car that he showed was the one that I was looking for. He explained everything very clear. The price that I received with the discount was as much that he was able to find to give me the maximun amount of discounts available. I had told him, that it was too bad that Hyundai did not have discounts for seniors. You had for Military, college students and others but no senior discount. It would be nice for Hyundai Corporation to have discounts for seniors who are retired, fixed income and have others expenses to deal with. I am 62 years old and dealing with physical problem. Bottom line, I give David Aguilar a score of 10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest) in helping and informing of what I needed to know in buying the car. More
