Best experience ever and I'm 62 years old This was the second Toyota dealer that we went to. We wanted to trade in our 2015 Prius so we went to the dealer that we bought the car from us and th This was the second Toyota dealer that we went to. We wanted to trade in our 2015 Prius so we went to the dealer that we bought the car from us and the offer they made us was a slap in the face. We were shocked and thought we couldn't trade into a bigger Hybrid Camry. We thought we'd give it one more try. So we went to Cowboy Toyota to give a trade one final try. What a DIFFERENCE the dealer was by far kinder and receptive to us. They made us an excellent offer but being my age I've always wheeled and dealed on cars. So I shot him an offer of a $1,000 less than his offer, he came back with a $1,500 lower offer what a surprise. Needless to say if you want a fair, friendly dealership go to Cowboy Toyota and ask for Billy Goss. He spent a lot of time with us after the sale going over all the features of the Camry and guiding us through them. He then took us to service and introduced us to the service department. A week later Billy called to see how we're doing and if we had any questions on any of the features. All this to say avoid the dealership in Rockwall and go to Cowboy Toyota. Very good experience! I was recommended this dealership through a friend of a friend and was told that it was a small dealership family owned! I actually prefer the small dealership experience it seems you get better attention. I have to admit when we walked in we went to the receptionist and didn’t get a real warm welcome. We were referred by a friend to Rodney and from the moment we met him we felt welcome. I honestly didn’t meet many others in the dealership but my salesman Rodney was the greatest. Unfortunately my deal went right up until closing time but Rodney stayed and was in no hurry to leave even though it was well past closing time to make sure that I understood everything about the car and that I was happy with it . I found a truck at Cowboy Toyota that was what I been looking for. Although I had found the truck I quite honestly dreaded going to yet another dealership to negotiate a deal. I was very pleasantly surprised with this dealership. I called and set up an appointment to see and drive the truck. Karen Schlatterer was the sales associate that arraigned my visit. One I got there the staff was friendly and eager to help. Karen was the best. The negotiations were quick to the point and the entire visit was very pleasant. Richard Breaud the finance officer that closed the deal was also very pleasant and had us in and out in no time. Bottom line - I would recommend this dealership hands down. I would recommend Karen to anyone that is looking for a fair deal and a pleasant and professional experience when buying a car or truck. More
