Alignment done improperly I brought my 2003 Windstar in for an oil change on Feb 10. I was told that they found several other items requiring attention and I asked what would I brought my 2003 Windstar in for an oil change on Feb 10. I was told that they found several other items requiring attention and I asked what would the additional time required to take care of the items. I was told it would be about an hour. I said to go ahead. However the vehicle was not ready for a lot longer. The total time I waited at your dealership was 5 hours. I only mention this because I had left my wife at home since I thought it would be a short visit. She has Alzheimer's and i have been advised not to leave her home alone, but since she was sleeping when I left home, I thought it would be okay. In fairness, when after a few hours I inquired about how much longer it would be, I was offered a ride home but I declined because I figured that a round trip home and back would be about the same time spent as it would take to complete the repairs. (My wife was fine when I got home.) Now to the main part of my complaint. One of the items added to the list of suggested repairs was replacement of a tie rod end; another was the flushing of the steering "box." These things logically required an alignment of the steering. Shortly after I left your dealership, I noticed that the steering wheel's preferred position was slightly to the left. I also noted that I had to move the steering wheel back to the "normal" position to go straight down the road. Finally I realized that, especially at low speeds, the steering wheel would slightly shake back and forth. I have not had time to have it corrected but I did return the vehicle to your shop on Saturday, Feb 14 (I know that is a bad day) to register my complaint and I talked to Will and he told me they could not do anything about it then (which I already knew) and that I needed to talk to Brandon but he was not there. I am not upset with my treatment but I would like to somehow make arrangements for you to readjust the alignment at a time agreeable to both of us. Brent kept me informed and let me know within 25 minutes of waiting what the diagnosis was for my car. He then notified me of the time expected that it was going to take to get it fixed. They were able to fix my car and have it ready near the time that it was expected. The mechanic Steve spoke to me after it was all fixed. Very informative and very friendly. I will be going back to them for my future needs for my vehicle. More

The Service Advisor Dave, took all the information and asked if there was any other issues I had to resolve as long as I was already in there. He was very friendly and the service was excellent. My husband loves that I have no problem dealing with any issues that arise with my Ford Edge and it is all because of the people I deal with at North Country Ford. More
