The bad part was the wait although a bit expected but within 5 days they had me keys in hand road legal and the car looked/ looks and drives mint. The day it was ready Philip C. (a very direct and approachable man) my specific dealer drove his own personal vehicle directly to my front door and drove me back to the dealer where I was taken care of and was able to drive off the lot within a half hour. We had no intention of buying a car, we were just looking at multiple stores; but after working with Rob, and experiencing the staff at North End, we felt comfortable doing business there. After checking out a few vehicles, we selected one we thought we would like and Rob did a superb job going over the vehicle, and we test drove it. When we went over the figures, we were even more pleased that we did not feel any pressure whatsoever, and we got a fair trade for our vehicle. We had some concerns about the new vehicle, which we addressed with Rob. When we took delivery of the vehicle Rob took care of everything he said he would, he delivered on his promises, and the dealership backed up what they put in writing. We have bought many vehicles over the years, and this is by far the very best experience we have ever had! Because my son was not with me I only asked a salesman his name and explained that I would pass the information along to my son. I am usually somewhat hesitant to deal with the purchase of a car but felt very comfortable as we began this process with Northend Motors and especially Ryan Ploof. When it was time for my sister to look for a used car, she too felt anxious about entering a dealership to start the process and especially the negotiations. I felt extremely comfortable recommending Ryan. After she did her research and had several cars and prices in mind we went and met with him. He was very patient as we test drove several cars,, They compared the values of several cars before narrowing the search to her final choice. Ryan assisted in getting the car to her mechanic for an inspection before the purchase.Then the negotiations began. My Best Pre-Owned Car Sales Consultant & Customer Experience Philip Chancy, at North End Motors, is the best pre-owned car sales consultant I have met since I started buying cars many years ago. And, North End Philip Chancy, at North End Motors, is the best pre-owned car sales consultant I have met since I started buying cars many years ago. And, North End Motors itself clearly shows that it cares about the quality of its inventory of pre-owned vehicles. I have a very busy work schedule, and I needed a SUV to solve some family-related transportation issues that could not be met with our current vehicles. I looked across at least 6 dealers (new and used), many Internet listings, and many individuals selling SUVs. Finally, I discovered a dealership, North End Motors of Canton, MA, that had very good ratings overall in relation to the size of the dealership and the number of cars that they sold per year. I am convinced that the reason they have such good ratings is because of their customer facing staff like my Customer Care Representative, Phillip Chancey, who helped me. Phillip's level of assistance and follow up was superb. Beginning with my first visit he consistently listened to me, arranged test drives and when I had questions about the mechanical condition of the vehicle I was interested in purchasing, he made sure that the shop manager and their ASE-Certified mechanics checked out each issue that I asked about. He kept things moving and communicated well even though I know he works, in parallel, with several customers at a time. Finally, I purchased a 2012 Ford Escape about a week-and-a-half ago. So far, based on my reasons for needing an SUV for a couple of years, it has turned out to be a very economical and good choice. Phillip Chancy’s manner and approach had a lot to do with why I enjoyed the customer experience at North End Motors. I also have to compliment the telephone contact center staff at North End Motors because of their politeness, promptness, and assistance in coordinating a couple of my visits to the dealership. Overall, I had a superb customer experience with the sales staff at North End Motors. Based on that, it is also my expectation that I will have positive experiences with their automotive mechanical services over the next few years when I bring my vehicle in for routine maintenance, etc. Also, due to their range and selection of vehicles I would first return to this dealership again whenever I am ready to purchase another pre-owned vehicle; and I would look forward to working with Philip Chancy again. For the volume of business that is transacted by North End Motors in Canton, MA, I am really impressed with the attentiveness paid to each customer.
