He portrayed a sincere desire to help, not push a sale. 3) All sales staff, including the sales manager, were not pushy and were very patient at every step of the process, from having vehicles ready to see before I arrived and in making suggestions when I couldn't decide. 4) When it came to the actual finance and purchase process, Oscar didn't just hand me off to the finance staff, he remained present throughout. 5) I recommend exploring their finance options even if you already have your financing ready before purchase. Knowing the market and current rates, the sales manager was able to beat USAA who I have used to finance every car purchase I made for the last 30 years. 5) Oscar was very quick to get answers and provide solutions, such as getting my rental car dropped off and providing me with a loaner vehicle to get me home that evening while the vehicle I purchased was thoroughly inspected and serviced for delivery to my home the next day. 5) I discovered a nail in one of the tires after the vehicle was delivered to me and before I had driven the vehicle the next day. The tire had to be replaced because of the nature of the puncture. I called Oscar who got a quick response from his manager who immediately agreed to reimburse me for the new tire. And yes, Oscar stayed with that process and kept me updated all the way until I received the reimbursement check. 6) I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle and to anyone looking for a pleasant, efficient and courteous car buying experience. 7) This dealership will be my first choice for another vehicle purchase in the near future. My experience was shockingly unprofessional. Just two weeks after purchasing a vehicle, the transmission failed. To add insult to injury, the check engine light, conveniently off during the sale, came on within three days, accompanied by serious transmission problems. These issues and others were never disclosed and have resulted in over $14,000 in unexpected repair costs. When I approached general sales manager Buddy Tatsch for a refund, he responded to my request with arrogance and utter disrespect. He had the audacity to ask, "Why would he buy back a vehicle from me with a faulty transmission?" clearly attempting to shift the blame for selling me a defective car. His lack of empathy, accountability, and basic customer service was appalling. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of North Park Lincoln, particularly Buddy Tatsch.
