I called and spoke to a salesperson to confirm that it was still there and when we told them that we couldn't make it until the next day they assured us that if it became unavailable they would let us know to save us a trip. When we arrived we were greeted at the door by a very friendly sales team. We dealt with Jason Leclair who made sure we had every opportunity to check out the car and answered all our questions. When we came to pick up the car it was clean and ready to go as promised. Jason was quick and officiant and Johnathan in the finance dept was very understanding of our needs, never tried to sell us anything we were not interested in. It was a positive experience with some snags along the way. In the end Melanie Zoelck emerged as the most competent person I have dealt with in my 3 years as a customer of this VW dealership. Not only did she help me process the buyback, she actually also sold me my new car, even though she is not a salesperson! But she seems to know everything there is to know, and when she doesn't, she knows what questions to ask and where to direct them. Melanie did not waste a single minute of my time, and treated me with straightforward respect. It was a very easy transaction, and I loved it when Melanie walked me through the details of the car. She knew how every little thing worked and she seemed to be enjoying showing off the car. I got the sense that she really believes in the brand and in the product and that gave me an extra boost and confidence in my purchase. I also had a nice experience with Myron Callender and with Eric (last name?) The person who processed my loan was A-OK as well. I will not mention a couple of other people whose hard-sale style I did not need. They should take a page from Melanie's book. After we informed her we wanted to lease the car it did take two hours to process the paperwork. She kept apologizing for the wait. This was beyond her control. This was not acceptable in my book. We made arrangements to pick up the car @ 11:00 am on Friday. I called to inform her we would be late due to a funeral. We arrived at 12:00 & were told the car was not ready. Greg did not like the way the vechile was cleaned. I had to leave due to another appointment & left my husband to get the vechile. He was seen at 1:00. He was offered a gift card for the delay. Their pricing was extremely competitive and thus I drove two hours to purchase my new Jetta GLI. I found this dealership online through cargurus.com. Their pricing was extremely competitive and thus I drove two hours to purchase my new Jetta GLI. My salesperson, Amber Riopelle, was extremely knowledgeable and low key. She made the process seamless and I had total confidence that I was getting the best pricing available. I was also not pressured into purchasing a service contract! Once the paperwork was completed, I had an extremely detailed run though of all the car's options with Melanie. She knew every bell and whistle and how to use them and explained them to me in an easy-to-follow manner. Being from out of state, the dealership has a neat program where "runners" will take my new car to DMV, in my city, and register my car and get its new plates, put them on, and deliver the car to my doorstep for no extra charge.
