Dealership with compassion and integrity for their customers I have purchased two cars from Northgate Ford. The first car was a new 2013 Fusion. About a year after my purchase the computer system crashed and nee I have purchased two cars from Northgate Ford. The first car was a new 2013 Fusion. About a year after my purchase the computer system crashed and needed service while I was on vacation in Florida. I contacted multiple Ford dealerships in Florida and none were willing to help me. I was desperate and called Northgate Ford when I had nowhere else to turn. The managers there went above and beyond to help me out. Not only did they handle the situation, but they also organized for me to drive a rental car home and have my car sent to me after it was repaired in Florida. The part I needed was on national backorder and Northgate Ford was able to find the part and have it shipped across the country to fix my car. Even though it was a new car, the technology in these cars may fail and all that matters is that the company will stand behind their product and fix it. Northgate Ford did just that. For that I told the managers (Jason and Bob) that I would purchase again from their dealership because they had earned my trust. In March 2015, I decided I wanted a larger vehicle so I returned to Northgate Ford. My salesman was Vance and he did a great job helping us and answering all of our questions. He ended up getting us into a 2013 Ford Explorer. The Explorer had a minor issue with the steering wheel controls that we didn’t notice until the next day, so I returned to Ford and let them know of the issue. Other dealerships might have told us too bad you will have to do a warranty claim but Northgate took it personal and treated me more like a friend then a customer. Chris and Jason from service were wonderful and literally did everything they could to try to make it right. They worked with Bob and Jason the sales managers to figure out options and in the end they were able to fix the issue at no cost to me. Again Northgate Ford solved my issue and worked with me to make my purchase experience amazing. They stood behind their product and made it right which is why I will continue to buy Ford and will definitely return to Northgate Ford for many future purchases. I will not buy from any other dealership. More

Even though I did a lot of research up front it's still nice to deal one on one with Vicki to get quick answers on what I was looking for in the car I purchased. Northgate staff is always friendly, even on their busiest days. My Focus was used, but looks brand new, plus I've got 2 more years of bumper to bumper warranty left. My wife and I have always had great service on our vehicles after the sale was done. More

Overall a great experience! I drove from Indiana to purchase a used Ford. He didn't act like he wanted to sell a car, and he wouldn't have either with his attitude and demeanor. We then requested a new salesman, Mike G. He was awesome! He was very helpful and changed the entire experience for us! If it were not for Mike we would have been going home empty handed. Also, Ashley G. from the finance department was great ad well. She was very efficient and friendly. Overall, Northgate Ford was a great place to buy a car. I would recommend this dealer to friends and family. I'm just happy we gave them a second chance! More

Altered Experience I was car shopping with my daughter. As we entered the dealership, we were introduced to a salesman that they said, "would take care of us." I was very disappointed, he seemed to have no interest and was very condescending. We went outside to discuss our concerns, I then decided to go in to see if we could deal with someone else. We were introduced to Michael Gerrein. Michael was very pleasant and altered our total experience. My daughter ended up purchasing a vehicle. I would definitely recommend Michael to friends and family for future purchases. I would also like to add, that Ashley Grohoske in the finance department was very fast and friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Thank you, Michael and Ashley! More

In need of a new truck. We went to Northgate Ford because the motor in our previous truck decided it wasn't going to work anymore. Outstanding dealership, sales staff and finance department I can't say enough how pleased we were with the service we received from Northgate Ford! Our first contact with the dealership was with Jennifer Watso I can't say enough how pleased we were with the service we received from Northgate Ford! Our first contact with the dealership was with Jennifer Watson via email and text. Loved how we could communicate electronically because we had her information in writing to refer back to and could reach her anytime without leaving a message, ect. Then Michael Gerrin was our sales person at the dealership. When we arrived, he was right there to greet us and helped us through every step of the way, from choosing the right vehicle, financing and finally delivery. Our situation was somewhat complicated, but he stayed right with us, listening to our issues and concerns, then finding ways through his manager (Sheryl) to get us the best deal possible. He was so patient in finding what we needed and very friendly and personable to work with. I would recommend asking for him when you enter the showroom! He directed us to Ashley Grohoske to take care of documentation and she was just as awesome to work with. Our deal included 2 vehicles so we closed our experience with Jennifer and Michael showing us the ins and outs of our new vehicles. Awesome dealership, awesome sale staff and awesome managers! Bad business practice Looking to purchase a used vehicle, saw one online that fit our needs, called about it and was told another potential buyer was looking at it at that Looking to purchase a used vehicle, saw one online that fit our needs, called about it and was told another potential buyer was looking at it at that moment and we would get a return call letting us know the outcome. We did receive the call and was told the other party was no longer interested, we informed the salesman at that time we were interested and we would be driving in from out of town and we were serious about the purchase of the vehicle, we would be there shortly. We arrived on the lot an hour or so later and located the vehicle parked in a strange location on the backside of the lot. We just got out to take a look when a salesman drove buy and asked us who we were, we told him and he told us that the car was sold ( I might add that he was rude in the way he asked us the questions and continued to drive on). We went inside to question the individual we had talked to over the phone and who had told us to come on out, Ed, he seemed pleasant enough, but he seemed confused about what was going on as he went to the back to locate the keys for the vehicle. At that time we could see that he was having a discussion with the sales manager along with the salesman that we had encountered on the lot, you could tell that he was upset and frustrated with what was happening. Ed, came back to us and apologized and explained that after he had called us and advised us to come on out, someone else had called and talked to another sales agent, that sales agent knew that we were coming out so he went to the sales manager to see if he could take a deposit over the phone from the other people to hold the vehicle for them without even seeing it or knowing if they were qualified to buy it. The manager told him to accept it and that left us out in the cold having driven an hour each way standing there with money in hand to purchase it right now and we had contacted them first. That is extremely poor customer service in my book by the sales manager and he didn't come over to explain his stupid way of thinking, he watched as he sent Ed to explain it to us. The manager screwed up, he should have been the one to talk to us. Being in customer service for over 35 years myself I can tell you that customer service and customer relations can be just as important as price (the salesman on the lot we first encountered as well as the manger have no customer skills causing bad experience and a waste of my valuable time). This being said I can tell you I will never step on Northgate Ford's lot again and advise my friends not to also and I will never step on a Ford lot again as well, way to go guys. More
