My KIA had a broken tail light on its spoiler. I went to NorthStar Kia Service Center to fix it. Upon inspection I was quoted $773 to replace the LED light assembly. My decision was to go ahead wi I went to NorthStar Kia Service Center to fix it. Upon inspection I was quoted $773 to replace the LED light assembly. My decision was to go ahead with the replacement and this part was ordered from their NorthStar KIA parts department. After two days, the ordered part did not come in as promised and I told the service rep to cancel the order because I wanted to shop around at other KIA service centers. Northstar told me that they will cancel the order but charge a restocking fee of 25%. This seemed like an excessive rate for a part that was, in fact, not in stock and had not come in yet. It would have been unacceptable to pay $193 and get absolutely nothing in return and hence I decided to go through with the transaction. The whole experience was a bit unpleasant as I felt put ‘on the hook’ for the part by being told to pay a hefty restocking fee for a part that was not in stock to begin with. Northstar should focus more on the customer experience by informing their customers of fees associated with parts ordering. More

I went in first thing saying I was not putting down payment. I would pay dmv and first month. I was told what my month payments would be. Was told I hadd to give $1,500. I asked before signing what was the payments. He looked he said the payments was higher then what I was told. I said that's not what I was told. He says it was because of etc.... which was not told to me. I feel they gas lighted me. Then try to make it seem as if they doing you a favor. Finance person tries to say they were there on there day off for you. What person does that. I'm sure there was others that could have done this on his day off. Again I felt like they were gas lighting me. More
