Service is good but leak of finding issue. I bought my 2017 Kia sportage to check the issue of blowing hot air from the dashboard air vent of the passenger side, after few hours waiting I was I bought my 2017 Kia sportage to check the issue of blowing hot air from the dashboard air vent of the passenger side, after few hours waiting I was told there are no issue, the AC system is working properly, and it is working when I get my car back, but afterward, the air vent still blow hot air occasional, sometime it work sometime it don't. I visited North Star Kia for routine service on my Kia Niro Hybrid — oil and filter change, brake fluid replacement, clutch actuator fluid replacement, and tire rotation. From the beginning, the adviso Niro Hybrid — oil and filter change, brake fluid replacement, clutch actuator fluid replacement, and tire rotation. From the beginning, the advisor didn’t know what clutch actuator fluid was, even though it’s clearly listed in the owner’s manual. After speaking to a supervisor, he told me it was included in their "brake system service." When I picked up the car, I checked the clutch actuator fluid tank and saw they hadn’t touched it — the fluid was still old and dirty. Only after I pointed it out did they agree to replace it, but I believe it was done partially and without proper flushing. Later, I noticed on the invoice that they had used 5W-30 oil, even though my car requires 0W-16 per Kia specifications. This is especially concerning for a hybrid and could affect both performance and warranty coverage. When I returned to question this, I was told “that’s just a generic code” — no real explanation or resolution was offered. I wasted time, energy, and now I’m left unsure of what was actually done to my vehicle. If you drive a hybrid or expect careful, professional service — I do not recommend this place. More
