no customer service My wife ordered a WRX from them. They told us the car would arrive between 6 and 8 weeks. Northtown said that they would keep us informed as well as call us when a 2018 arrived so we could test drive one since they didn't have one on the lot yet.They did at week 8, when they called to tell us that the car wasn't ready yet. One week later we called them and asked about the car, still nothing. Then a couple of days later the car finally comes in. We make plans on going to pick the car up on Friday at 6pm. So my wife calls them to tell the salesman that we were now married. If the car would of been there in 6 to 8 weeks it wouldn't of been an issue but obviously it didn't. So she tells them that she just changed her name on her license and SS card. They told that she would have to bring them over and she said she would. Thinking they meant when they came in. So we went Friday at 5:35, No salesman and the car was no where to be seen. So we sat there for 20 minutes waiting. Finally another salesman ask us if we need anything and he went to get the car we have been waiting 10 weeks for. Meanwhile they tell us that she cant take the car because she doesn't have ID with her married name on it, even though she has her old license and marriage license. My wife is very mad and so am I at this point. We ask for our down payment back and they gave it to us. They ask "do you still want the car?" and I replied "We will call you as soon as we talk". and left. They sold the car the very next morning. Northtown customer service is awful. Not even a courtesy call on Saturday? Oh yeah, we still haven't test drove one yet. Good job Northtown. The owner of the company that I work for purchased a Dodge Viper. When the car finally showed they wiped it down and scratched it all up. NEVER AGAIN More

Go to Northtown Volkswagen if you are going to do any business with Northown. I purchased a car from Northtown Volkswagen and everyone you speak to there is much nicer to deal with. sub par service brought my car in for recall service. along with an oil change and tire rotation. which is normally not a problem. today i had to wait 5 hours to have brought my car in for recall service. along with an oil change and tire rotation. which is normally not a problem. today i had to wait 5 hours to have my car returned. no one called to tell me the car was ready. when i called the service department and asked to be picked up by their shuttle service i was told it was about to end.luckily they found someone to pick me up. this is far below the usual standards. i wonder if there has been a change in the service writers/ management since their move.i think i would be better off with another service station i.e. a Monroe or Mr. lube for simple tasks.i do know most other tire stores also do not charge for tire rotation, sorry i bought my tires from the dealership. More

A sales person walked right past me at the door, so I asked if he was a salesman. The reply was yes, but we close in 10 minutes. I informed him their website states they close at 9 pm. He responded & said "Really ? We'll have to fix that" and said "why ...is it an emergency that you have to buy a car? " I just said never mind and left. I returned on Tuesday at 7pm with my wife and 2 other adult family members, we walked into the "showroom" and after standing there for 5 minutes with absolutely no greeting from anyone my wife said maybe if we just go into the lot and start looking at cars someone will come over to help. 20 minutes later still no greeting from anyone so we left and decided tomorrow evening we will just go to the other Subaru dealer in Hamburg. I'm really glad your business is so good you can just ignore potential customers . Good luck, I'm not impressed! I rate 1 star only because Subaru makes a nice car, that star has nothing to do with your sales staff or business practices. I'll be sharing my experience with anyone who mentions Northtown ! More

Even with the added extended warranty at Northtown, West Herr's price was significantly higher with no warrenty expect the manufacturers'. The people I worked with at West Herr suggested from the start that NorthTown would quote me a price and then screw me over in the end. That did not happen, the price was exactly what they said it would be. Wonderful experience overall and I LOVE my Subaru Impreza. It came right off the truck and our salesman called us the second it arrived in the lot, which was the day after we made the deal. I expected to wait a little longer and I was so excited when it came in the next day. Definitely do your research and figure out what you think is fair to pay and get ready to negotiate. They will work with you and try to meet your needs. More
