Northtown Subaru

Found at car the lot on Friday and got the numbers figured out. The wife came in Saturday and handled the financials for the vehicle. Was told there was an open recall on the Tahoe and it needed to b figured out. The wife came in Saturday and handled the financials for the vehicle. Was told there was an open recall on the Tahoe and it needed to be addressed, no problem. Salesman Ethan said he would be on touch when it was ready. Got the call yesterday, Monday, that the Tahoe was ready for pick up. We took our Mazda we bought from Northtown Mazda, which we loved, to CarMax to say good bye and go pick up the Tahoe. While the paperwork is being is being finalized, Ethan comes back and tells us he's having someone take back out the car because since they did the recall. The sensors needed to be reset for the inspection. So the Tahoe was not actually "ready." It wasn't even on the lot. Never seen it. When asking about a loaner or something to drive , since we have kids, all 70 cars were out already. So the wife got a ride home after she bought a car. When I called today, talked to the Sale Manager Brian Meadows, it makes you understand why Ethan was so unsympathetic. They had the same degree of concern and caring. So we are still without a car looking to go rent one right now so we at least have something to handle our day to day priorities until this car surfaces. Who knows when it will be ready. We are at the mercy of the car. This could of all been avoided if the car was actually ready for pick up when we were told. We would of never turned in our other vehicle. Will be updating. More
