Ugh, First thing worth mentioning and It's no fault to the dealership but just an Fyi if you didn't know. If you come here from another state like CT, you can't take the vehicle home for about 5 days afte the dealership but just an Fyi if you didn't know. If you come here from another state like CT, you can't take the vehicle home for about 5 days after purchasing it. (or so I was told once I got there) For me it took 2 whole weeks. My sales rep Kent was responsive which was nice, but dismissive to my concerns I brought forward and a bit snarky at times. Anyways. Back to the vehicle.. They had made me aware of this rule about not being able to take it home for several days, they also said I wasn't able to put a hold or deposit on it and that it likely wouldn't be available for another day if I left without signing for it.. It was a truck and in pretty Immaculate shape. I did a full visual inspection including the under the hood and under the truck. One small dent on the side panel and a few small ones on the hood.. They then made me aware that they could deliver the truck to me instead of me having to drive the 2 hours back up when it was ready and I thought that was a nice option so I agreed and bought it. 2 weeks later we were set to meet at a local dmv to me for me to take the truck and do all the dmv paper work.. Here's where things go bad.. So I pull into the dmv and see my truck sitting there that had just been driven to me on what looks like dirt roads the whole time.. It's dusty but whatever right cause dust comes off.. But it's what was under all that dust that I didn't see until I rinsed the truck off when I got it home.. Literally more dings and chipped paint on the front bumper and grill than I could count, the windshield was cracked in one spot and had chips in the glass in 4 other locations. And it had deep swirl marks (scratches) in the paint all ovet from what I think was them giving it a quick srub down with a dirty brush before the driver left that day. Idk if this driver tailed a dump truck the whole ride here or took it off roading but it was delved to me in way worse condition than when I signed for it.. Not happy at all.. I did text Kent about it all and he said to bring it back up there to have it looked at but like, now I'd have to drive back up it up there and drop it off and then what, Uber back 2 hours and not have a vehicle all week till it's fixed, just to have to uber back up, to get it. Seems ridiculous. So I quoted what the paint correction and windshield replacement would cost at some local shops and it's no less than 2500$ and id still be without a truck for several days.. Not a happy camper More
