I went to this location because they had the best price on the car I wanted, not for the service. My sales person was Timothy Mclean, who has zero customer service skills. I felt that my concerns and request were not heard because I am a young woman. He did not tolerate any bargaining on price or warranty discounts, and almost refused to give me the warranty deal the dealership was advertising. When I first came to look at the car, he made me wait for 40 minutes while he looked for the car. He was unable to find it, and told me to come back another time to see it. I did not live close by, so this was an immense inconvenience and waste of my time. The next day, I learned the car was actually just in the service garage while I was there, and I could have seen it the first time instead of wasting my whole evening. Overall, Tim was rude and abrasive, and generally not helpful in explaining the warranty coverage and options. After I begrudgingly purchased the car, I was told Tim needed to drive the car to my local DMV to ensure I registered it and paid the sales tax - an unusual practice, in my opinion. Tim showed up two hours late to the DMV, and I had to wait with him for two more hours to finally get my car registered and be finished with the uncomfortable experience. During this time, he was not personable or friendly, and did not make the registration process any easier. When I test drove the car, I noticed the wheel alignment was off as the car was veering to the left. I requested that they realign the car before I received it. Tim apparently shrugged off my request and did not take me seriously, because when I finally owed the car and drove it for the first time the same issue occurred. I inquired with the service department and they said that an alignment had not been performed. Thankfully a sale manager suggested I get the alignment done locally and then offered to reimburse me for the cost. However, this was a prolonged experience as well. I had the alignment done in November and did not receive the reimbursement until February. I had to call the dealership SIX times in order to receive a check. Unacceptable. The whole experience has left a bad taste in mouth about Boch Honda West, and I definitely would NOT recommend. I don't know if this is how they treat all their paying customers, but I felt personally mistreated because of my age and gender. To not take a determined buyer seriously is a poor business choice. If the price wasn't right, I would have quickly left this dealership. Other reviews rave about their friendly manner and great customer service, but my experience was anything but. If you find yourself with Tim, request another sales person. If you are a woman, especially a young one, bring a man because I guess that is what you need for your voice to be heard at this rude, sexist dealership. More

Completely satisfied with the Professional Sales Service I have purchased my last three Honda's from Rick Petroff, the lasts being the 2018 Pilot. I had tried a few other dealerships before going to this one and felt like I was just a number at those locations, but at Boch Honda West, they genuinely wanted to help me find my perfect car. I got to work with Zach, Tim, Tom and Kirk while at Boch Honda West and they were all kind, professional and knowledgable about their cars and the purchasing process. I must tip my hat to Zach as he is an incredible salesman. He was the primary person that I worked with at this dealership and I cannot say enough positive things about him. He has a genuinely kind nature and knows a great deal about the Honda CR-V. When I settled on this specific car, he was a wealth of information and made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. I also appreciate that he did everything necessary for the dealership (pitching potential car packages/plans); however, when I expressed my personal purchase plan, he respected it and did not push me any further. This dealership is welcoming, respectful and will not make you feel rushed or forced into making a decision. The employees want to see you walk out of that door happy and with the car meant for you.That was certainly the case for me! More

I have had my share of both good and poor experiences with dealers and repair shops in the past, and in fact have an automotive background so I’m well aware of the range in service that is possible. I was warmly greeted and was introduced to Tim Mclean. Tim took me on a test drive that day, and the next, and took the time to listen to what I was looking for. He asked questions without being pushy, and provided me with all the information he thought I should know, not just the highlights that may have painted an unrealistic picture. Tim didn’t try to pressure me and made the buying experience incredibly easy, staying well after closing to finish the paperwork and get me out the door with my new car that night. I went out of my way to ensure that I worked only with him and to make sure he received the commission for the sale, I’ve been in sales for a long time and he had earned it. It’s been two weeks and I’m thrilled with my vehicle (first Honda) and my experience, and I’ve already told a friend to go see Tim. Thanks again! More
