Service center used subpar and unsafe rope plug on tire repair. Plug failed within 20 minutes of use and resulted in dangerously low tire pressure on highway. I brought the vehicle to a local tire shop repair. Plug failed within 20 minutes of use and resulted in dangerously low tire pressure on highway. I brought the vehicle to a local tire shop and the staff there were shocked that a dealership would use this type of plug and patch, as it is not recommended (and in their experience is usually used by shady and cheap third party mechanics). This also made the tire unrepairable, so I believe the dealership used this patch purposefully so we would come back and buy tires from them after the plug fails. I would recommend getting your service elsewhere. More

I purchased a 2022 Tuscon in June. Had a mechanical issue and it took 4 weeks to even get an appointment. The only reason for 2 stars is Nate, Service Manager who is wonderful. This Had a mechanical issue and it took 4 weeks to even get an appointment. The only reason for 2 stars is Nate, Service Manager who is wonderful. This is the 6th car that I have purchased from Tarbox and their name should not even be associated with Nucar. The initial purchase and subsequent issue was met with a "too bad" attitude; again, with the exception of Nate. Stuck with an expensive car payment and extremely unhappy. I also recommended the Tuscon to a friend. She purchased a 2023 for $500 less and it included the power lift gate. More

I recently visited the dealership and was met by Lynn Holston. I was interested in a car that was coded as "in transit". Lynn was very courteous and knowledgeable.
