fpr the fith time here I go. I went to the dealership looking for a truck. I hav MS and am almost completely wheelechair bound. We were told we couldn't have a pick up and were shown a Fusion and Saturn looking for a truck. I hav MS and am almost completely wheelechair bound. We were told we couldn't have a pick up and were shown a Fusion and Saturn Vue. During our test drive with the fusion we found it is not to have a hitch insalled. The Vue drove nicely but it was going to need a hich so we could we use a hitch lift. We wanted a truck so we had the choice of a hitch or a hydraulic lift to better protect my chair, my chair costs betweeen8-10k. With a hitch lift it is difficult if not impossable to protect the chair the elements. I found a small area on the drivers that had no paint down to the base. was told after spendind 15-16k for the car to buy a $20.00 can of paint and fix it myself. I also have a problem that cars that had been test driven or were being bought were parked in handicap spaces. If I had had my wheel chair I would not have gotten into the dealership. days after I bought the Vue a Chevy dealer I had been working with called and said they could put me in a pick up truck for the same price and payment. And a New one with all the incentives rebates dealership and Chevy repabates could get the cost down and make it possible. We worked with Jerry Handleman and Jared Maes. They were awesome and very protective of me as far as my health. They could only work with what the managers would give them to work with. I find it odd that a Chevy Manager could get the cost of a truck down buy using incentives, and the ford managers didn't seem to care if they sold a car,,little own try to make the needs of the customer possible, if it can be done by Chevy why not Ford????????? I was in the market for a used truck for my company. I drove all over 104th and even went to Rocky's. I explained what I needed and he showed me the perfect truck. He explained all the features and let me drive it. He then told me that he would give me the price I wanted. I didn't believe him. I was in the market for a new SUV, and in particular the Ford Explorer. It was recommended by a neighbor that I visit O'Meara Ford since he was so convincing to me of the great experience he had, and was ha Ford Explorer. I do admit, I am always reluctant of the car buying experience. O'Meara Ford was the first dealership I visited. I had no reason to go anywhere else. The salesman I dealt with was Daniel McCrary. Mr McCrary was extremely knowlegable about my particular interest - the Ford Explorer. He "sold" me on all of the great features, safety and reliability etc etc, and after doing much internet research on the Explorer myself, and going into it with a little knowledge of my own, it was apparent to me after talking with Mr McCrary that he was not just trying to pitch a sale. He told me he has a small child as I do too, and I believe he would feel just as comfortable transporting his own son in the Explorer as I now do. I am so pleased with both my new vehicle/Explorer, my overall experience with my salesperson, and O'Meara Ford, that now I myself will recommend your dealership - and my salesperson to anyone I may encounter who may be in the market for a new or used car.
