Last weekend on the spur of the moment we went to Oak Lawn Toyota to check out the 2014 Prius. My wife and I were greeted by salesman, Rob Halderson. Rob made the experience of shopping and buying a car pleasurable as opposed to the less than enjoyable experiences with my previous six or so purchases. Rob is courteous, friendly, upbeat, helpful, knowledgeable, straightforward and just plain enjoyable to do business with. He provided us with extremely favorable pricing without haggling or high pressure tactics. In this case, the specific model and color were not available in the lot. We went home on a Saturday evening with Rob's cell number and an offer to call him on a Sunday at home if we wanted him to find a car for us on Monday as a manufacturers discount was ending then. We did call and by Monday afternoon there was a car prepped and ready for us to drive home. The dealership's purchase process was friendly and efficient. I drove home Monday afternoon a satisfied customer. Rob can expect to see me the next time I am in the market for a new car. More

The least that is expected to help me adjusting my purchase price to the actual price. I thought both an investment for my family and I came to invest at the wrong place. A great beginning to agreat experience. We actually had another same type used vehicle with extra value equipment we were aggressively pursuing. The other car had more mileage and came with the Honda Certified warranty. Frank made the car purchase happen by differentiating between the 2 cars and the Oaklawn Toyota dealer value added service. My wife and I are extremely pleased with our purchase. We love the color and car! We left your dealership with no regrets. I just purchased the sixth vehicle on 5/27/14, a 2014 Prius C Two. I drove from Schaumburg to do so. Rob is such a delightful person, that I could not see myself buying a car from anyone else but him. Our experience is always top notch and would not go anywhere else as long as Rob is still around. In the past 3 months we were in numerous dealerships and by far Oaklawn Toyota was by the most outstanding place to buy a car. We ran into some very negative sales people on the way to finding the great people at Oaklawn Toyota. We read previous reviews and decided it would be worth the drive of 50 miles to go to Oaklawn to make the purchase. We were very glad we did. #1 our car was inside the building away from the elements, #2 our chosen options (roof rack, door edge guards, and side guards) were done and on the car. #3 The price we were told days earlier was the price we paid. Oaklawn service did a great job, Al Leon and John Mcshane,obtained a loaner car for me, work as usual was done perfectly. When you purchase a new vehicle, which is very expensive, service after the sale really shows how much a dealership values your business, this dealership shines brightly in this aspect. The only problem I had was being put on hold, by the operator, as they were busy I understand, but everything else was great,car was clean, and service issue resolved. Would buy another vehicle and recommend this dealership 110%! More
