This was the worst vehicle purchase experience I’ve had in over 30 years. Oakes GMC uses bait-and-switch pricing. A 2022 Lincoln Nautilus was advertised online at one price, but once I arrived I was tol in over 30 years. Oakes GMC uses bait-and-switch pricing. A 2022 Lincoln Nautilus was advertised online at one price, but once I arrived I was told that price required dealer financing and a trade-in. Without those, the price was over $4,000 higher. I walked out. A manager later called and agreed to honor the advertised price. The problems didn’t stop there. I was subjected to high-pressure upselling for overpriced warranties, add-ons, and even car insurance. The title and registration process was a mess—delays far beyond what was promised, unprofessional communication, missed follow-ups, and paperwork sent incorrectly and incomplete, forcing multiple DMV trips and over 10 hours of wasted time. If zero stars were an option, I’d choose it. This dealership lacks honesty, organization, and accountability. The only positive was Michael, the salesperson, who was professional and easy to work with despite everything else. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. More
