After searching via internet for several days and finding 3 of a special model car I was seeking that were available in the area, I contacted David LeGates at Tasca. After a couple of e-mails he offered me a 3 of a special model car I was seeking that were available in the area, I contacted David LeGates at Tasca. After a couple of e-mails he offered me a much lower price on the car than what it was listed for (and substantially lower than KBB value!). Other dealers I contacted were firm on the price. I made an appointment to check out the car (Chevy HHR/SS), took a drive and loved it right away. Denis Lee was very friendly and helpful. He went over the car with me, answered all my questions and took the time to check on a couple of things he initially wasn't sure of. I know I'm not an easy customer, and Denis stayed right with me all the way. After sitting down he asked me "What would make you happy today?". I thought for a few moments and presented a deal that I thought would be a little too good (at least for me) but might make a good starting point from which to negotiate. Denis said "That'll be tough, but I'll see what my boss says...". After a few minutes he came back and, to my complete surprise, basically agreed almost exactly to my terms. Wow! I had not only avoided the whole back and forth process that causes most of us to hate visiting a car dealer almost as mush as we hate going to the dentist, but I had saved about $1500 over my earlier expectations. I usually don't believe in advertising slogans up front, but in the end, I really did come away SATISFIED! Many thanks to everyone at TASCA. I will definitely start here the next time I'm looking for a car. More
