Another guy tracks our car down for us and tells us the diagnostic was never done. Too busy, only one tech, end of the month, etc…. The 2nd guy was actually very nice and helpful but don’t understand how they can have the car for 7 hours (with an appointment) and not get anything done or fail to let us know anything at all. More

The service writers were extremely helpful and professional. They were also very clear about what was covered under warranty and what would cost money. They tried to do some selling, which I under professional. They were also very clear about what was covered under warranty and what would cost money. We brought the vehicle in for specific diagnostics and repairs and were assured the problem had been identified and corrected. However, within 24 hours of picking up the vehicle — and within roughly 50 mi repairs and were assured the problem had been identified and corrected. However, within 24 hours of picking up the vehicle — and within roughly 50 miles of normal operation — the vehicle suffered a significant breakdown. Approximately 40 of those miles were simply the drive home from the dealership, with the remainder occurring during routine highway travel. No such issues were present before their repair. Despite the dealership claiming the vehicle was “test-driven,” the mileage aligns almost identically with our own trip, raising serious concerns about whether meaningful or adequate testing was performed at all. The breakdown caused secondary mechanical damage that we were forced to pay for out of pocket. A major component — the drive belt tensioner pulley — failed immediately after their service. This is a part that is generally expected to last the life of the vehicle or, at minimum, well beyond 100,000 miles. Its sudden failure immediately after their repair strongly suggests the initial work was incomplete or improperly performed. Most recently, we were also required to replace the auxiliary battery, an issue that our independent mechanic directly linked to the cascade of problems stemming from the dealership’s initial repair. This resulted in even more out-of-pocket expenses that should never have arisen had the original repair been properly executed. When we sought clarification or accountability, the dealership provided inconsistent explanations and declined to take responsibility for the damages that followed their service. Instead of assisting in resolving the matter, the burden — and the cost — fell entirely on us. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this dealership for service work. Consumers should be aware that inadequate or negligent repairs can create additional mechanical failures and significant financial loss. In our case, one repair led to multiple additional repairs, none of which the dealership was willing to acknowledge or address. More
